ok, your not bored, but it does look kinda good,, maybe you could cover the sides with plexiglass.

How did you mount everything?

i don't use it. It was just something to do when i was vary board lol.
I mounted everything with screws like you would a metal case.

How did it support the cd drive?!

I voted 8/10 because:

Oh and I voted 8 cause I would probably do the same thing with the right amount of cardboard... :P

whats the psu resting on, cpu cooler? looks like you just used some washers and screws maybe some hex nuts?

Make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy :D

the PSU isn't resting on anything! i did all of this in about 20min so if i keep it i know i need to do alittle more work.

I voted 10/10 because:

I give you a NOBLE 10. I forgot the psu has screw holes in it :P good morning.

I voted 1/10 because the case isn't really worth anything. Putting a bunch of parts into a cardboard box isn't amusing, or creative. The fan grill just makes it worse. I know that you did it in 20min. but that's no excuse.

i always wanted to make a card board PC case, however, i was think more in the Trashy look, with duct tape holding everything together

i was going for a clean look. not trashy

I gave it a two cause honestly any real case would be better, and I just can't see this as practical once you hit the ON switch.

I voted 10/10 because:

Brilliant!

thanks :)

@hat
I just did it to kill time and i have been wanting to try something like this for along time so i did.

I voted 1/10 because:

all you did was put some computer parts in a box then cut a hole for the optical drive and psu. Doesn't look like anything is connect, I dont see any hdd, and there isnt even a cut out for the IO panel and pci slots and no power switch.
If that took you 20 mins to throw together you cant expect much.
If you're really serious about this concept take some more time and put some more effort.

Next time put more than 20 min into it :p

the HDD was under the PSU. I cut a place for the IO plate and i didn't connect IDE cables before the pics because of time. I put them on and tested it out. I didn't feel safe with it running so i took it apart. pic of IO took it before i put the board in. I am not using any PCI slots so i didn't cut them

if there is a next time i will put more time into it. there will be a metal or Plexiglases back plate for the board

ya, he only did this & he only did that to it, but the main thing he did was, have the balls to post it, I got a kick out of it & I'm sure many others did too.
