Who would thought a development studio that mainly developed FPS has released a potential game of the year title already from all the praises its getting.

Ita pretty awesome. The FPS market is so saturated and usually filled with crap franchises its nice to see them able to shift gears with a new IP. Break away and breath new life into their company.

As for GOTY.. Lots of competition.. Zelda is crushing it, and still got Mass Effect dropping in 2 weeks.

Its awesome totally worth it. But if you feel far cry primal is repetitive you might get bored with Horizon. It has many of the same mechanics but the way its executed is awesome. And the story is great.

farcry primal and horizon are different. I think primal will get interesting if i play further. I will definitely try horizon out

The Killzone games were fantastic though - and hugely graphically ahead of anything at the time when they released (On PS3, though I'm sure the PS4 Killzone also looks fantastic). Fun fact, I was top 20 in the world for a bit in KZ3

Anyways, only played about 30 mins or so more of Horizon Zero Dawn, but got up to the part where she gets grown up and did a little bit of exploring/killing. Man everything is just so fucking smooth, even in 4k. I'm attributing part of this to the power of the PS4 Pro but man it is fantastic. My ONLY grip is obviously I don't like playing with the controller and I wish you could customize sensitivity and buttons.

I was able to play more Horizon. I'm maybe a few hours in. I'll give it a thumb up so far. It is fun, it has robots. Visually it is stunning for a console game.

I've missed out on shadowfall,is it worth picking up now its worth nothing?? I quite enjoyed killzone 3 which i bought the limited edition version which came with the limited edition green PS3 controller.

Never played it, I didn't get a PS4 right when they came out and rarely play mine, so never picked it up. I might one day. But besides the graphics, my draw to Killzone was always multiplayer.

And where can I obtain the game..."Wash Dogs"...Does it let you use different soaps as you level up? Can you burn down the competition with soap bombs and slander?

So far Xbone is looking very stale in comparison in terms of exclusive titles,the only game i was looking forward to was Scalebound just because it was similar to Monster Hunter but that got cancelled.

Tales of Berseria - Nice chick and smells similar to Tales of vesperia which is what I consider as the best Tales game.

You mean Vita right for Gravity Rush lol,Tales of Berseria is definitely up there with other great Tales games. Will be picking up Yakuza 0 some point eventually as i have too many games to play.

I was just thinking that it is already ported, but you know what I'd like to play again on console instead of handheld? Well multiple games lol. But, Pursuit Force from PSP...that was great.

I purchased a Vita the day it came out to play Uncharted...then sold it a few weeks later I think. Was a cool piece of hardware but mobile gaming does nothing for me.

Persona games are generally well received. But it's not for everyone.

The game is basically a fancy visual novel with places to visit, battles with cosmic elements advantages (fire weak against ice or so on), and finally the teenage romance.

The battles are known to be tricky at times although it's never as harsh as battles from Shin Megami Tensei games where a single wrong move could wipe out your entire team.

Persona & Shin Megami Tensei games are similar in core concept but vastly different in execution. Persona is light hearted and comical. The girls are cute as well. You get to choose one in the end as your soulmate. So, in a sense, it has elements of dating sim as well.

Persona is basically a group of (teenage) heroes fighting against the evil. They have to be teenagers since adults cannot summon "persona". As teens grow up, they become too tainted to summon.

I keep all my portable systems for their exclusive releases only,particularly the PSP and Vita for japanese titles only and 3DS for mainly Monster Hunter and Pokemon.
I generally would want see Monster Hunter brought back on PS console as i think i would easily be playing 100+ hours on it alone easy.

This is the only reason i want a switch. Monster Hunter XX and Zelda.

Grabbed Tales of Berseria today on Steam. I didn't realize it was 10 bucks cheaper on PC.

I was going to wait, but I get a strange feeling that I am going to like this Tales.

P.S. I truly hated Tales of Graces F. Finished it still and smashed the disk afterwards.
