I leave mine set at 4000 dpi most of the time. I've always used my wrist to move the mouse and drop ring and pinky fingers for drag/counter force to make small adjustments for sniping and the like.
Damn. What's the stock rate in Windows, 800dpi? I always use that. :D

Though I tried 1000dpi once and that was also somewhat fine.

Somewhat generic mouse that comes with different names such as "Extreme XM102K". Cable is a bit rigid but can OC to 1k polling and can be found brand new for less than 1USD. :)
Had this one for many years now.

That somewhat reminds me of the Apple iMac G4 mouse.

Logitech G604 (LIGHTSPEED). Can be used with USB receiver and BT. Swapped for it after gifting my old G603 to some girl I know. Though I don't use side buttons at all lol

Dongles is a strange point in my opinion. There is a mobile gaming that does get affected but generally for anything mobile it is better to use BT for convenience sake - and to be fair, BT today is quite capable for gaming as well - and for a desktop how often do you remove the dongle anyhow? Enough mice these days seem to have both proprietary RF dongle as well as capability for BT connection so kind of best from both worlds.
For my needs, dongles are just hard to manage and keep track of. I've lost so many that having a wired mouse just feels nicer. It probably doesn't help that all my experiences with bluetooth have been mostly terrible for my desktops anyway (if you asked me, its purely just bad luck on my part. Feel free to criticize my stinginess)

I think if USB dongles weren't so tiny and looked nearly identical across multiple different brands (at least, the ones ive seen) I wouldn't have a problem with them honestly. I also like a heavy mouse, so that helps (though there are definitely wireless mice out there that can be heavy.) Next mouse upgrade won't be for awhile, so we'll see I guess.

It is a good mouse for the price (comfortable, quality and accurate).
I wanted to order another mouse from zalman, but it was out of stock in my country.

zalman ZM-GM4

SteelSeries mice I have also used but they break down quickly. It is an overrated brand because it is (very) popular, but for no reason.

Logitech mice last on average between 10-15 years before they start faltering. They are good, but I usually find their design ugly.

Lol, I don't lose dongles (and when someone gives me a PC for repair - I tell 'em "take ya cr*p (dongle) with you so I won't care 'bout it:D")
Also, I hate the fact you run out of battery sometimes. (yeah, I'm not a type of person who will spend like 100+ for a mouse with internal battery - considering the fact internal batteries literally die after 2 yrs lol). But, still, using wire requires very BIG table so the cable won't "stuck" when you play. (I have had a big table and a ton of wired mice - zero problems. But, when I use short tables - wired mice are totally BS using them, the cable will ALWAYS get stuck in the back!)

1. Zalman - have seen these "nice" design, though, I don't feel it comfortable
2. Steelseries - agree. Overpriced cr*p. Have read "good reviews" and bought emotionally Steelseries wired "Sims mouse". It was BS.
3. Logi. I like their medium-priced wireless solution, though they are way worse than average no-name China in budget

Never had this issue to be fair, as I carefully routed my cables as best I can (while still somehow managing to make it look like the worlds greatest firehazard) so I don't have this issue. Honestly though I'm just a big hater of bluetooth products for PC's specifically. Phones? a-okay. Car? yuparooni. PC? I'm not feeling obligated to charge my mouse even if it has a long battery life

Like I said, I'm stingey with these products, I totally understand why people like them and respect that choice, I'm just weird lol.

Had this back in the days when I was a teen, then I used its' kids (G400, G400s, MX 518 remake) but nothing can beat the original MX518 :)

since this 518 era, logitech had gone downhill. they sell overpriced trash today.not for free would I use it. I had that mx518 and G5. great mice. I started with logitech and their 3 button pilot mouse. so I know logitech very well. they are garbage today. microsoft too.

ive been trying to find large sized mice. very few good one. I used kensington wired but its not durable. crap quality. I had to modify it. small thin scroll wheel which I use ALOT. I used to get into the mouse pad and the teflon skatz stickers underneath. I do make sure to wipe down the desk and bottom of mouse every 1-3 days. it gets gunky and in the summer its problematic. on this issue, I feel things havent advanced in tech with it.

Ill take wired anyday over wireless.

Home usage: Razer Deathadder V3 wired. The wheel is a bit borked after a few months, but that thing is the most comfortable mouse I have ever used.

Office usage: Logitech G604 for the buttons. There are too many...obstacles on my working desk, so wireless is preferred here.
I have some combo buttons (CtrlC,CtrlV, other frequently used app-specific combos) mapped on it, and it helped my daily works a lot.

Also tried MX Master 3S, really disappointed by the fact that it needs software to make the horizontal scroll wheel work. (I can try to install the software, I have the credentials to do it, but I really don't want to try.)

Would also want to try Razer Naga series, or Redragon M913, or similar many buttons mice. I can do the mapping part at home, but I don't things that require funny software at my working PC to make it work. (or in some Razer mice' case, prompting installation on first use.)

Edit: I think I have set all my mice at 1600dpi. And a mouse speed that my brother couldn't understand. "Boomer speed" is his word.

Various forms of this trackball over the years has kept admins, coworkers, friends, and family from wanting to use my PC. Best security device ever.
The old red ball wired USB version was the best quality one but sadly not manufactured for many years.
Only my 4yr old is un-phased by it and often steals the ball to play with it and hide it somewhere in the house when I'm not looking.

Trackballs are great for some tasks, not for others. Of course there are no rules against having both plugged in and ready!

I always used a Logitech G602 (have 3 of them). Though... they are way too expensive, now. But, I don't think I'll need another for at least, 6 years.

I use the corded version of this one now, after starting out many years ago with Logitech. So I'll just lazily use your pic if you don't mind. :D

It was tempting because you actually have yours looking about same color as mine. I have a Bloody B800 Lightstrike KB that came with orange backlighting. None of the colors matched it, so I looked online for some color codes and found one that is pretty much an exact match.

I was worried Razer's software might be problematic to use, as I'd tried an older version of Synergy that I had trouble with like many did. It has exceeded my expectations though and is very reliable. My one nit pick is I wish there was a bit taller space for my thumb, as I often squeeze the closer thumb button accidentally. I have that problem with most mice though, despite my not having big thumbs.

Just about 10 years old now, can't say I didn't get my money's worth. Probably time for something new though, the switches and scroll encoder are completely worn out.
