yo dude i have problem i feel i get electricity shock to my nerve and my health my nerves are suffering from it , i think its the cause of the power supply not working to health properly, but the power supply itself is working stable no problems in running pc but its bad for the health i heard u said unplug everything in psu and before that unplug and touch the inside (unplug psu, press power button, touch inside of case, feel good about self, remove mobo, do whatever, put back in, win. ) but i m scared to do that because of electricity what happened and it damaged my nerve in my hand now i have carpal tunnel syndrome so i dont know what to do .
( it was to some1 who i seemed to find the solutionbut i couldnt message him about him so i leave the same message behind because its the best i can describe ).

so is there alternative way to end electricity so u dont have any electricity to harm you ,
so alternative way to reset a power supply
is it possible ?
and when its possible how to do it

sounds like it's lacking a good earth on the power socket you're plugging it into you really shouldn't be getting shocks from your PC's power supply

might be true

but its funny cz before the force restart i did there wasnt any electrical shock problems now there is after

if it isnt ?

Curious, is your computer on a metal desk? Can you test to see if PS is actually grounding? This is interesting on the nerve damage.

nah its on television desk basic old carpet desk
or is it better off on floor ?

i dont know is it outlet what needs to be changed or is it power supply

Does the outlet even have a ground? Two prong outlet, old wiring?

Worst comes to worst you could try to run a ground from the case to a radiator or water pipe, anything to ground.

nah its grounded but it seems that outlet was worst before, now i putted pc on the floor and old mousepad under the pc now it feels and seems alot better but its always good at the beginning when u boot ur computer
but it seems better

lets see

we ll see

now i have carpal tunnel syndrome
That doesn't have anything to do with any electricity, but only with bad ergonomics/too much repetitive stress of hand in that bad position.
(or some other hiding medical condition)

curioous, is it better for monitor to use basic outlet from the wall (w groundings) or with extension cable which is better? for monitor life

Ground might not be "true" ground if an appliance connected close to you is faulty, or you have faulty electrical wiring in your home (might even be outside your home). It can be dangerous, and you should have it checked. I would strongly recommend getting someone professional to check it out, but you can also buy AC Outlet Ground Tester equipment that you can try yourself, quick amazon search:

^^^THIS^^^ You definitely need to check the wall outlet to make sure it is wired properly and grounded to Earth ground. If not wired properly, you need to have the outlet repaired by a qualified electrician.

so alternative way to reset a power supply
Unplug it, wait 15 seconds or so and plug it back in. But having the outlet tested is your first priority. However, there typically is not a "reset" feature for computer power supplies. If there is, it is only to restore output - not to correct a ground fault or incorrect voltage scenario.

You don't say where you live, but most home improvement stores have outlet checkers for your local outlets - like the one above for 110VAC for here in the US, or this one for the UK.

Make sure the tester you get tests for Ground Faults, then use it to check all the outlets in the house, especially those near water like the kitchen and bathroom. If any fault, contact a qualified electrician (or the landlord - and be very serious and firm with a landlord that this is a top priority). If you live in an apartment complex, check your neighbor's outlets too. If theirs are bad also, more people complaining can make a lot more noise.

This type of electrical shock cannot cause carpal tunnel syndrome. That is typically due to a RSI. But getting zapped (or even tensing up out of fear of being zapped) could surely aggravate it.

More significantly, an electrical shock (that does not throw you across the room) could be deadly for someone with a heart condition, or a small child. So it must not be ignored.

Oh, and just in case it is not obvious, a ground fault can make touching any electrical appliance in your home dangerous, as most metal chassis are connected to ground, even when turned off.

as most metal chassis are connected to ground, even when turned off.
If the appliance uses a 3-prong plug, that is very true.

yeah i fixed it , but how to ground your monitor i feel im getting zapped static to my hand

This...

You're probably not feeling zapping, you are suffering from a medical condition; you shouldn't be using the PC or a mouse to begin with. Not a standard one anyway.

You probably will benefit from using something such as this instead - and rigorously limiting your number of consecutive hours doing the same motion:

Visit your doctor and get advice.

As for grounded sockets and quality of your house grid. Get a qualified electrician for that. If a socket wasn't properly grounded before you won't be making it so. Yes, you can ghetto it with running a metal wire somewhere someplace...but do you want to?

yeah i fixed it ,
How? Forums are places to learn and to share what we have learned. So how did you fix it so others may learn too.
ut how to ground your monitor i feel im getting zapped static to my hand
Make sure your computer and your monitor (and everything else connected to your computer) are plugged into the same wall outlet. Other wise, there may be a slight "difference in potential" to Earth ground. This can result is feeling a slight shock. It also commonly is heard as a slight buzzing sound in speakers.

If you must power through different wall outlets, run a grounding wire from the monitor to the computer case. There is almost no current so you can use very thin (22-24 AWG), single conductor wire. Just connect one end to a mounting screw on the case for computer's power supply and the other end to a mounting screw on the monitor. Make sure the monitor screw screws into metal and not just plastic.

Get a decent surge protector... A decent one will indicate a ground issue if there is one

And make sure it's a surge protector and not just a current tap
