Prolimatech packs the large CPU cooler design ideology with DFI's LANParty branding from DFI. The company started off with the Megahalems cooler that received good reviews. PC Games Hardware sourced pictures and drawings of some really fascinating, yet large CPU coolers in the works by the company, from German retailer Caseking.de, before officially listing the products. To succeed the Megahalems, the company has three new coolers named Genesis, Jericho, and The Mammoth.

Some of the most audacious designs ever imagined, have taken shape, and may be ready to hit the market. The drawings show Jericho to be a medium-to-large cooler with stacked aluminum-fin blocks, and a fan that circulates air. The Mammoth and Genesis have a peculiar staged heat-column design. For The Mammoth, the CPU contact-block gives out numerous heatpipes that convey heat to two staged aluminum fin arrays with dedicated air-flows, both of which are along the plane of the motherboard. The Genesis, on the other hand uses a slightly different design, with an array perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard. There is no word on exactly when these coolers get listed.

they need to increase avaialbiltiy, they have this cooler i like but no find anywhere

Friggin huge...
But the Genesis seems odd, looks like a lot of disturbed airflow.

they are so ugly,it like out of this world ugly!

The Genesis?? Who came up with that airflow design?? Doesn't seem very logical.

The genesis you must think of air as a liquid and how if the fan faceing "up" pulls and the other "pushes" this will acutally create a low pressure gap below the heatsink as cold air trys to replace the warm rising "forcing" air through the "up" heatsink becuase of the pressure difference from temparature, if the "out" fan can keep up, its an effiecent design, however; the large volume of the heatsink might not be good for ambient temps. That depends on your case's volumes.

The effect is kind of like how poeple think a truck bed isnt an aerodynamic advantange when in fact it really is as it carosels air over it.

Ya, I'll buy these..:shadedshu You know how much I hate to have things easy.. Nothing more fun then having to remove your HSF in order to change out your memory.. This way, more time can be spent on labor and less time spent actually using the pc..

genesis and mammoth both look interesting. I would think the genesis would perform better (cooling your VRM's better so you can add more voltage) but I wonder if it will actually take away from the cpu's fan. perhaps something like the mammoth would work better where the air is all in the same motion, and "exhaust" so to speak is what cools the vrm heatsink.

Either way they look like they make sense.

I think the weight of it would snap a board in half lol:nutkick:

jericho looks pretty big but it's no bigger than other's i've seen. I thought the same thing about my tuniq tower 120, but it holds on pretty good.

Holy s***!!! is all I can say......
Even if it performs bad I want one of those monsters to show off....

Only thing I like is the mobo heatsink they got hanging out the back in the concepts. Now that would be neat!

Dude that Mammoth cooler is sooo awesome!

That heatsink hanging out is a DFI motherboard design. Here's the board on the Egg

And here is cyber druid's build for his son with the board.

HOLY SMOKES BATMAN!

They are massive.
Ummm, I guess i wont be able to see half the board anymore. And umm, i better get the build right with something like the Mammoth because once i slap everything together, there wont be going back into that case. . . .

I cant wait to see some reviews on this. Unless someone actually slaps on some l.e.d's, flurolights or flame light - these coolers are going to make for one ugly but superaircooled gaming rig.

Double Delta!

yea holy shit definitely makes sense lol, as big as the mammoth and genesis are, i can't imagine what their price will be, and if their performance will be worth all that material compared to current top HSF's.

All I can say is the Genisis looks oddly familliar to me. Can anyone say Cooler Master V10 without a big plastic cover?

Without a fundamental and revolutionary change in how the heat is removed from the CPU, we're just going to see minimally incremental increases in cooling performance with current heatpipe-based heatsinks.

That's why we're seeing all these ass-stupid designs and implementations. The overall sizes and weights of these things are greatly rising, along with their price, but cooling performance isn't increasing along the same metric.

Hopefully someone steps forward and produces the "next best thing"... :/

It looks like a total knock off. Except they removed the plastic cover, took out the TEC heatsink array in the front and removed the TEC going from 3 heatsinks to 2. It should perform far worse than the V10 without the TEC and the extra heatsink.

now become see new solution for cooling which is multiply heatsink in one cooler , many brands begin try this like coolmaster

I whole-heartedly agree, and eagrly await that day myself.

The V10.

It's somewhere between Genesis and Jericho.

Maybe one of these can finally cool a Core i7 cpu to acceptable temps?? If so, im the first one bying one of these, even tho they are very ugly as someone already said... :)
