haha, yeah it all went to a good cause

I just got home from work, now i have some time to play!!

the cooler on my ram is a ram fan mod i made: keeps the ram stone cold @ 2.4volts: its a duel-p4 cooler fan bonded together.

oh, i just quickly got this:

bandwidth not too bad!! everest dont fully support my cpu hence no l2 cache info

the load temps on one core gets to ~ 57C, the others around 45ish, its on the stock thermal paste also, my cpu cleaning solution is coming with my pelt which is in shipping atm

getting better

I ordered the arctic web 437W pelt block with dual in/out barbs. cooling it with another thermochill pa120.3 and a blackice 120mm rad

I havent got around to stability testing it, just seeing what i can churn out at the moment, then i can test for stability and drop back to whatever is stable. I know that 4ghz is stable, not certain about anything higher yet, but that may change once i get my actual cooling sorted

they are currently being shipped to me from the usa, im hoping within the next few days. gonna have to bleed my gfx loop to detatch the mobo nb loop and remove the mobo, hell its gonna keep me busy

hehe thanks mate, sentiment appreciated...

But to what has been said, im not gonna go insane with the overclock on this chip on stock air cooling. I have seen someone with my exact setup, my mobo, my ram and this cpu hit 4.7ghz but with a pretty good aftermarket air cooler. I dont think this stock cooler with its stock TIM can get me that. no matter as I never intended it too!

gonna see what i can get fully prime stable and what volts are needed, then work backwards on voltage with the tec cooler then upwards on frequency. that should net me my best result.
