Ok yall, I downloaded the 2.18's and combine the xp and vista drivers into a single download, you can get them from http://ashentech.com/index.php?topic=1614.0 they are attached to the post, as we all know the realtek servers SUCK for download speed.

download is around 25-26mb total(smaller then each one of the packs dirrect from realtek, god i love 7z)

enjoy.

Oh and Ket is welcome to upload his drivers as attachments to his post on ashentech or to the linked thred as well, would be faster and more conveniant for people then rapidshit or megaupload :)

huh?

ok, well that explains his comments......

creative sucks....last X-Fi I had gave me so many problems I sold it to a friend.

You are bad bad man and lazy friend you should be ashame of your self :D

lol, sorry for the triple post, it wouldnt let me safe edits, kept giving me an error(but didnt give me what the error was....)

as to the x-fi its not the hardware, its the software/drivers, as with past creative products.......they need to get a new dev team and stop contracting out with the middle east/india for their drivers :P

New modded drivers aren't up because I was sleeping. I humbly apologise for my bodys need for sleep :p I'll grab them an check em out.

Having trouble downloading the Xfi software X-Fi Software.7z.

Any other place I can download this ?

R2.18 will take longer than the other drivers to do, making additional changes.

This Creative XFI Software is the same available at Creative site ?

Vista driver modder needed

Who wants to do the Vista modded driver? It takes a long time to make these additional changes, if they work it could further improve audio quality.

RMAA tester needed

Says it all really, I need somebody who can test vanilla and the modded drivers and post screenshots of the results.

Does anyone know why the hell Creative decided to get rid of the stand-alone Equalizer? I tried some command line arguments on the Console Launcher to get it to go straight to the EQ but no go. Am I wrong for not wanting to load the Console and THEN go to the EQ from there? Is that just pure right out laziness?

You could try downloading a old driver package and extracting the stand alone equalizer with something like winrar and installing the equalizer seperate from the package.

I'm like 99% sure it would say 'the audio device was not found on this system'.

Shouldnt be the case, crapative are pretty lazy they just add device IDs and don't bother taking any out.

When I get home I definitely going to try this stuff. Me liky free stuff.

okay there ya go :)
