I'm trying to find things to hold my interest until Star Citizen is released.

Last night I started building a wooden tower (smallish) next to the road near my main base. Just something i can sit in and shoot people from.

Well I got the 3 walls and doorway up when I hear several sets of footsteps. I quickly pull out my gun just as I see one guy move past my door. I asked if he's friendly...no response. Two other guys are on either side of my wood structure hacking away with hatchets...lol The guy comes in view of my door again but he has something in his hands. Just as I start to unload into him (but before I could kill him) he tosses up a wood barricade in my doorway. Then in chat says: "BOOM yer barricaded!" and they all run off.

I laughed. It was funny. Now I want to kill those dude. lol I have two of their names...don't know who the 3rd person was. But when I told the one dude that i'd kill him next time I see him he gave up the guy that actually barricaded me. lol Which I already knew but I thought it was funny.


I'll take this time to add that all those [TG] guys are members of the guild I belong to. All really cool guys but I don't think they are going to play nice on the server. I know one of them is going straight bandit. The rest (around 8 guys) are building their own little town and will most likley be nice enough but I wouldn't trust them in a group. lol

Just a warning. I really don't know how they'll behave.

That was the case today, I was helping these new guys when I went into a town and got shot at by three guys and the one chased me up to the rocks and he got the shot off before I could. Verdix is the one that WILL die.

Funny, monkeyboy used to be on the other server I used to play on and he was a complete ass of himself to everyone. Pretty sure he was blacklisted.

Last night me an TheBat! (erocker) had a interesting turn of events. we started off crafting me gear cause I had lost all mine earlier that day (read my previous posts). We started out raiding a the closest town then turning around and going to the fuel containers were there is a lot of zombies that spawn. By this time it was getting to be night and I then hear erocker on TS mumbling something then he said "fuck im dead" so I went an searched for his body and when I did there was a new spawn looting him so I had to take that guy out and put as much gear as I could into my inventory and truck it back to our bases. One thing I didn't pickup is his explosive charges.

I finally stated building a proper base last night and moving over all of my valuables. It was a productive hour or two, except for the bit where I had forgotten to craft ceilings and had to stand in place for 10 minutes in an open building while they were being crafted...

yes! My first time playing this game was at night and I stumbled onto a air drop that had an M4. We need to get in the middle of the map on the mountain when the plane comes by so we can see were it drops.

You think that's the middle of the map? xD The map is huge, and 70% of it is empty wasteland!
Current server doesn't have drops, which sucks. Makes me want to jump back to the US server and deal with lag, because i can craft explosives and bolt action rifles!

is your connection to whitenoises server good? We were getting some lag last night and it freaked me out. We were running around dusky dark and erocker just vanished and I was looking right at him. It looked like he TPed up the hill.

He fixed the airdrops. I heard two or three while I was on last night.

Reason we left Whitenoise's server was because of the lag. Used to get serious rubber banding issues - running 50 meters and then getting teleported back to the starting place.
We raided a base, got TONNES of loot, and then went to raid a second. Literally we all died because we lagged out, and one random guy who wasn't lagging killed 4 armed men with kevlar with nothing but a bow and a few arrows. I didn't like the fact my gameplay was ruined by lag so we migrated to a closer server. Sucks, because we were doing really well and had a lot of fun with Whitenoise.

Basically, latency is the only thing keeping me from purchasing this game as well since I want to join you guys. I'm not sure connecting from SE Asia to Whitenoise's server is such a good idea.

Yeah right? Those are worth more than all the other loot. I don't even have a singe c4 yet. But I have been crafting all the shit I need to start making them. I have enough now to craft 3 c4. I just haven't done it yet. I have crafted around 5 nades though.

I can't say for sure but a lot of Koreans play on the west coast servers. I know one guy for sure on this server is from Korea. It's that Christmas dude.

Yeah I was bummed when you guys had to leave. But I can't blame you. The server is a west coast server...about as far away from the UK as one could get in the USA. It's too bad though as I enjoyed running around with you and Unholywar.

Right now I'm waiting for the mod groupgate to get updated as its not working. Once that is up I'll have an automatic system in place to ban/kick players that are known cheaters or use odd steam names that can't be looked up.

Last night there were 25 people playing when I was in. It's getting hairy out there. Used to be if I saw someone it was like, "Hi - friendly...need any help or anything?" But now its becoming, " Hi frie......" fuck im dead. LOL

In all fairness if I see anyone walking towards me I'm just going to start shooting unless they announce themselves as someone I know. If I accidentally shoot someone I know (any of you) I will hold your gear for you and return it. But I just can't take any chances any longer.

They need to come up with a way to allow groups with some sort of indicator so while in game you can tell friend from foe.

P250 oneshot headshots pretty much anything (Such an underrated weapon), shotgun is not great IMO unless you're in close quarter panic mode.

I did some tests with the shotgun - If you are 3 foundations away (I measure everything in game by building foundations), then the odds of you hitting the centre of your crosshair are slim to none. You have to be at least 1 1/2 foundations away from the target in order for all the shrapnel to hit the general body of the target. After I did a bunch of tests with the range and made some calcs with print screens of the general bullet spread of the shotgun (I must have gone through about 200 shotgun shells), I came to conclusion the gun is pretty worthless other than for scaring people (no silencer attached).

The revolver however (only on Rust++ ???) is ridiculously accurate and almost no recoil. I could headshot fast zombies from 100 meters away while they were running. Damage is a bit cack though.

I might try to jump back on @WhiteNoise's server, because the community is far more awesome, just depends on how the lag treats me.
