The group is called TPU. You can register on the site and I think I can add you to the group? Just tell me your user name. It's a neat little thing to do that we can point out bases and know where stuff is and what to raid/avoid etc. :)

Is there anyway to register at that site without using my steam account? I don't like the idea of using steam to log into some 3rd party system.
 
I have no idea. But I still had to enter a user and pass anyways..so I'm not sure what the Steam integration is for.
 
It's part of the steam community. I was skeptical at first as well, but it's legit.
 
Just a FYI...if you see a guy by the name of MBerlin74 running around; he is brand new to the game and a good friend of mine. He's lost at the moment but after work I'm going to hunt him down and bring him to my base.
 
Ok I need to watch my ammo count cause I went looting yesterday afternoon in the next town from my base and got chased by 4 zombies then they killed me. It took about 4 deaths to fully get my gear back from that spot so I ran back to base and put it all up for now. This game is quite fun but they need more stuff and some type of objective or mission quests. once you build a base and get good loot the only real thing you can do is look for blue prints.

Now you can pillage people's bases and 1 shot them.
 
I've had multiple times where it took me 4 deaths or so to get my stuff back from zombies near the tankers. I actually had to craft a shotgun to finally go get my shit back once. It sucked.

Anyways...after I get all my loot and stuff I start raiding. That's where it becomes fun. And eventually your base will get raided and you'll lose everything...so you have to rebuild.

I'm still rebuilding my supplies from being raided last time. Luckily, I had my best gear on me, but all my resources were in storage. I'm living out of my starter shack(s) and still saving up supplies to finally build a worthwhile base.
 
My metal base is complete. If you see a big metal building near BIG rad town....thats most likely me.

So you're saying that the large metal building near big rad town is open to raids?
 
Well now...I wasn't saying it's "open" to raids...but its without a doubt closed up and tempting to someone(s) for raiding.


I must admit I did a good job on this base though. I placed it in such a spot to not allow any further foundations to be placed anywhere around its walls. So I don't think anyone can build stairs up to the windows. (Though I'm not 100% sure if this is true).

I think that if anyone raids it they'll have to start on the ground floor and woooboy they'll have to have lot of C4.

I have a plan for a tower of power...
It will have a 4x3 foundation, with each foundation piece having its own room. Each floor will be the same, one entrance, one set of stairs to make it to the next floor, and you must make it through every room on the floor to go to the next level.
It's going to take a lot of resources to complete, but it should provide a lot of area to store things and be very secure toward the end of the first floor and every floor after that.

Also, you don't have to worry about me raiding. The only way I would raid is if it was retaliation on somebody whom I knew raided me.
 
Every single room in my house has a door (will have) and it will not be straight through to the stairs. Then you have to get through another set of them. Then another. And I'll have boxes in every room full of nothing so it looks like you've hit the jackpot, then you don't! I'm so good.
 
I did the same with the boxes. Because I know hackers can see boxes through walls.
 
Soo... uhh... I know I've asked this before, but I never got an answer.
Anybody willing to let me research their bolt action rifle? I'll give it right back when I'm done.

I have uni tonight, so the absolute earliest I could be on would be probably 10:30-11PM EST.
 
Found a great server in rust but none to play with so far , there are not enough players for bombs so you have some safety. Though i hear grenades blow down a door , and zombies from the c4 but its rare. Anyway the admins seem nice and none abuses their powers. Most players are friendly , and dont Kos i hear of events being planned and much more sounds like alot of fun! come join me please !!

We've all been playing on White Noise's server.
 
There was a guy on our server who was crying about the fact he got killed and somebody took his shotgun for like 30 mins. The guy who did it then posted in chat "OK, ill trade with you. Your shotgun for 1000 tuna"
