Got all 16 pipes working.

Is the R430 "realto" (pipe 16) the correct option in the ISO?

Concerning the sapphire x800 GTO/XL is it XL after flashing to 16 pipes?

How does one check their FPS on Oblivion?

I see where everyone is comparing their performance. Don't know where exactly to check it myself.

Any help would be nice.

Still wonder?? anyone know if you can unlock the extra pipes on the R480??

You cant, not on the AGP model. The R480 core is still faster than an unlocked AGP R430 core. Just overclock the dog-shiit out of it and enjoy.

it was the one i forwarded to you right?

inside the zip file isn't a rar file, if ya check it out its got an .iso extension

gotta right click it and open with. . . (whatever burner program u use) for me i use nero, so after u right click it and use the, (open with) command, it should go right into the burner program and just select burn speed and hit burn. (if this dont work, and it deff should)

load up your burner software, hit file-->load, and select that .iso image (wherever you extracted the zip) and burn

if ya cant get it to work still, i dunno, thats as easy as i can explain how to burn an .iso file.


also SENT out to all above address's, have fun and post your results!!

dorf made this bootdisc so easy, a newbie can unlock his 4 extra pipe's with a click (almost, lol)

I see that now tool483. i used winAce and saw it was an ISO.Cant figure out why winzip showed it was a winrar file??

I'm a total newbie to the overclocking game and this made it a breeze!

3dMark05 (free) ~4400----> 4800!!

I think I've been bitten by the overclock bug, and I would like to try my hand at some over clocking, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm idling in the 40's (43-49) and under load it's about (59-65). I'm still on the stock cooling and have an R430 core, are there any overclocking options I could do without pushing it too far? Thanks for the advice!

LOL I must be a newbee...I can't get that burnt to a CD for nothing. I tried to burn it and just made a imiage file to it. I'm pulling my hair out. Can you make it so it makes a bootable floppy? and how do you do it??

well i was finally able to unlock this sucker!!! got all 16 pipes now and stock speeds( just what i wanted) thanks so much to all for the help,especially dolf u are THE bomb man!

for those trying to unlock the sapphire x800GTO(256mb) with r430 core remember to type in ".bin" at the end of command line AND most important use dolfs modded bios it works great!!! be sure to back up original bios also(crap does happen) my command line was as follows( i have sapphire x800GTO w/r430 core)


atiflash -f -p obios16.bin..........

i just got the x800 GTO with the 430 and same fuses as previously posted. can someone send me the modded BIOS or the tool dolf made to flash the card as i would greatly appreciate it. 16 is always better than 12.

u can find dolfs modded bios on page 2 of this thread( 2nd from the bottom) , it will work provided u want to keep the stock speeds out of the box( might also only work for sapphire cards not sure) i used ati flash( newest version) on mine and did it from a dos bootdisk-
