Cool, so I guess they all do 8000?

The challenge is tight timings?

Pretty sure these sticks do not like CL26 at any speed too much, but I have only tried up to 1.5v..

New 6000CL26 A-Die kit @ 6000MTs,...

AIDA64 6000CL26 bios 2904.png

I lowered FCLK back to 2000, after testing 2200,.. no real performance gain, slightly lower Latency running 2200 @ 6000MTs. 2200 was stable but no point running out of sync for no real performance gain.

Delidded 9950X ES running PBO
ROG CROSSHAIR X870E APEX
2x16GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo A-DIE @ 1.76 VDD / 1.55 VDDQ
Very large custom cooling with mora

First off we have some short karhu run, only 1 hour durations do to time constraints.
Core Tuning @ level 2 = over 10mb/s higher throughput then anything i managed on the GENE, ended at 372.30mb/s

With everything open bandwidth drops alittle

Also did alittle test in GB3 on the same boot which netted me a 15.2k / 14.75k memory score which is very good for a 9950X i would say

I also did a short 1 hour karhu run @ Core Tuning = legacy -> 53.9ns in AIDA64
Do note is pretty much only in AIDA the latency drops almost 10ns, while Clam latency stays the ~same and bandwidth is lower

Release day for the 9950X3D is finally here and i can start to share some screenshots :)

This is my new daily profile ive manged to stabilize the new G.SKILL 6000 CL26 sticks at
  • 9950X3D ES
  • 8600MT/s CL32
  • 1.74 VDD / 1.55 VDDQ needed for these settings
  • Core tuning level 2
  • 1.500 CPU VDDIO
  • 1.1 CLDO VDDP
15 hours karhu @ ~375mb/s

Can bench light programs @ synced 8800 / 2200 :toast:
For full y-cruncher bench stability i need to drop down to 8700MT/s

Got a used 7950X3D for $465 and sold 7800X3D for $445  Worth much more than $20 for sure.
Good thing is it still does 2200Mhz FLCK with 8000 MT/s RAM like 7800X3D.

Playing around with 8600G and some good bin TRIDENT Z5s @8700CL36

Squeezed every last drop of performance out of this cheap AliExpress Kingbank 16GB ×2 kit, rock solid at 1.4V and stable with TM5 (anta777's absolute config). Pretty satisfied with the results!

The internet said it was hard to run 4 sticks fast, they were right.

This is where I am at right now.. L3 got a good bump but I am ditch the new set.

Cant get em stable at timings I was running before let alone paired up.. dammit Jim.

ok same kit but testing regular 1:1 mode GDM OFF at 6400CL28. Seems good but wow it makes the CPU run about 15C higher than running 8400CL36.

OK!

I think I have fingered out my problem.. just needed some VDDG IOD.. and maybe some VSOC, and maybe some extra on the ram..

Now that I am in the ballpark I think I can tune from here..

May I ask an off topic question please?
Since you are using an Asus Rog Strix, which sound enhancement software bundled with your motherboard? And are you happy with it?

I couldn't tell you to be honest. I use sound from my GPU to my soundbar, to my TV for ATMOS.

Edit:

I do not sit at a desk, my setup is in my rec room where I sit on a couch hunched over my coffee table. My TV is about 8 feet away and my tower is about 9 feet away, and my sub is behind it :D

memory at 1.5v?

Do you have active cooling on it?

Not on it per se.. above it yes..

Was able to tweak some voltages a bit, I haven't tried to lower vdimm at all yet.. seems to max out at about 39c after a few hours of TM5 Absolute..

My setup currently..

So i have swapped over to my sample #3 9950X3D with the strongest IMC, and for the last week i have been finetuning the settings/voltages and pushing the memory as hard as i could for a fully stable daily memory profile

At the end of my journey i reached a wooping fully stable 8744MT/s CL32 with the APEX and these new G.SKill 6000 CL26 sticks
  • 9950X3D with core tuning level2 running PBO
  • ROG CROSSHAIR X870E APEX @ baseclock 100.5mhz
  • G.SKILL 6000MT/s CL26 @ 1.78VDD 1.55VDDQ cooled by custom heatsinks + 2x60mm noctua fans
  • FCLK @ 2211mhz / memory @ 8744MT/s CL32 (2200 /8700 multipliers with 100.5mhz baseclock)
  • Nitro 1-3-1 with synced tPHYRDL @ 38/38
  • Large custom watercooling with a mora
Decided to complete all the following stability tests in a single boot to show that i dont cherry pick settings for spesific benchmarks

6.5hours karhu @ 379mb/s
5.5hours RunMemTestPro @ 36609mb/s
1 hour OCCT Large AVX512
1 hour TestMem5 1usmus cfg
1 hour y-cruncher all tests enabled
1 hour LinX @ ~1900GFLOPS

For a performance comparison picked the following: (was running out of screenspace)

AIDA cache and memory benchmark
Clam latency benchmark
Clam bandwidth benchmark
MaxxMem2
1743978280671.png

I can complete pretty much all benchmark @ golden ratio 8800/2200 CL32 (8844/2211), but karhu will fail it after awhile, so the promised land is still alittle out of reach for fully stable daily settings atm
Have also updated all my y-cruncher runs for hwbot, but haven't uploaded yet since i need to swap to my 2*24GB m-die sticks before i can finished of with the 10B run for this cpu

Just messing around..
