Probably because the page is gigantic.

Confirmed, that is one incredibly complex page though, with all the data in spoilers
Hi,
Think he stopped using spoilers though.

There are spoilers within the spoilers... And a ton of stuff within each spoiler.

Expect rendering to be slow for that one.

Hi,
Not enough spoilers :-)

My speed is 935.40 mbps and it drags lol

@W1zzard
Are prior days even needed on the thread or page by page ?

Almost renders the thread useless ?

Your browser is choking on all the html elements, right click view source and watch your browser slow down a lot

Anything creative you can do ?

Like I said before only recent updates are needed he updates everywhere on new posts so older are replaced by new.

That reminds me of when I was a kid. I was once given a delicious rich chocolate cake, so I bit off a huge piece, but could then barely chew it and almost choked on it lol.

Hi,
Think it's just time to make a new thread daily/ weekly which ever would be more realistic.

Hi,

I tend to open that particular thread for the pricing in another tab and keep going about my business until it loads up. I've usually got half a dozen threads/topics that catch my eye in the morning that load up right away and I just come back to the pricing thread at the end. And that's with browsing on my decade old work PC running a smashingly fast i5-2400 and 10GB of RAM.

I guess we could make a new thread at some point

Yeah this is a very complex post. I thought about editing just the OP but I like to see the historical data. Honestly, this is already time consuming enough I would rather not go back and edit posts. I don't want to add more to it. lol Also, once prices and stock levels are back to normal I feel like this thread will become pointless, but I do have some ideas to speed things up. I might try some today. I have just been super busy lately and this is low priority atm. Thanks for the feed back!

I don’t see the problem with leaving the thread as it is and creating a new one next year like you always do.

Hi,
Well hope you come up with some special sauce to fix it because now it's much faster to just go to micro center or newegg and use their search features to find anything

Not sure what @qubit is talking about the thread was started June-2021 to date 16 pages atm so there was never a January 2022 thread started it's now 9 months old
Probably wouldn't be so slow if there was a new one created in Jan. 2022

It's probably easiest to create a new thread? Or create an "archive" thread an I can move posts into it

Yeah I think an archive thread would work over making a new thread.

Hi,
If a thread takes a long time to load most people bail and just think it's messed up

Lots of work gathering info no doubt I just hated to see it wasted on slow load time
I noticed it when I posted micro center activated Reserve now on 30 series gpu's instock that took longer than I expected

Oh duh! Cross purposes  Ignore me.

Hi,
No worries I wont go that far I save that for special occasion lost causes

This happened while trying to search something from the home page

Some items not showing up under the Search function or is there something I'm just not doing right?

If I go and search and type in "Dying Light 2" and hit Search, I'm brought to a "No results found".

However, if I type in just "Dying Light" I get all sorts of results:

I'm not sure if this is an issue or just something simply with having a number after the words that's messing things up? Or if I'm just doing something wrong because I've had a head cold for a few days and haven't had much sleep so sometimes simple things elude me?

A while back W1zzard mentioned that the XenForo search function wasn't all that great. So it's likely not a new issue.
