First of all, am sorry if there is any grammatical mistake bcs i am not a native english speaker.

Hi, i downloaded Throttlestop 2 days ago from this website https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-throttlestop/ and followed a tutorial on youtube telling me how to increase my gaming FPS, but i still kept on getting the same low fps on apex legends 30-50. Then i am thinking that maybe this software is not the right decision and decided to uninstall it. But then i didnt find the "ThrottleStop" software under the "Add/Remove a Program" in Control Panel. any help or any other way to unistall it? fyi i already tried to uninstall it with 3rd party software but the software couldn't find ThrottleStop and there is no uninstall.exe in the ThrottleStop file.

Thankyou

ThrottleStop is a stand alone, or portable, program. You uninstall it simply by deleting the files you extracted from the zip file and the zip file itself, no other steps are required to uninstall it.

No, you don't have to delete the zip file if you don't want to.

I ran a system cleanup and after that the program says it can't start without finding some path. Regardless of which path and with what settings you run. Obviously, ThrootleStop is not 100% portable and harms somewhere in the registry or temporary files.

@VassilSanych

ThrottleStop does not write anything to the registry. It does create a temporary file in a user's Temp folder. Running System Cleanup and deleting a file that ThrottleStop is using could cause a problem.

Solution: Do not run System Cleanup while ThrottleStop is running.
