Tips for non-kit memory stability? / Two "bad" 64Gb DDR3 kits

With the problem solved as "given up, replaced", the only part remaining is: could it be that I broke those kits in some way?.. I would really like to avoid doing that again, if that could have been the reason.
 
I think the original sticks were faulty and since you got replacement sets, and they work, you will be fine. Enjoy them!
