Toxicity in the forums

You can't really excuse everything companies do with "they need money". Everybody needs money, very few are lying, cheating, etc... to make said money.
Again, you would too under the right circumstances to get said money.

Absolutely, but that I do it does not make it right.

I might be a Nature lover that drives a Jeep, but does that mean I cannot comment on how gas guzzlers waste resources?

P.S. I don't drive a Jeep

like knowing a PSU exploses and pretend i don't know to make a few bucks (i doubt it's even a best seller, so the profits it's for sure peanuts in the company accounts)?

most people wouldn't do that.

Here is another one

Let's say I build houses and inform the seller that they can have it cheaper with less insulation, their choice.

Government regulation disallow this for it is wrong to sell such a house, even if the buyer requests it.

P.S. I don't build houses

I just ignore the people that irritate me. If I've tried to reason with them in the past and they persist on being a PITA, I just ignore them. It's nice that even when you ignore people on the forums here, you can't see their messages if someone quotes them, they still show up as ignored unless you choose to see what their content is.

But what if the annoying person is misleading others? some would feel it was their obligation to not just turn away.

Life is complicated.

This is really the best way to go about it. Report actual issues, ignore people you simply wont get along with.

What about it? I don't see an issue. If you are literally incapable of responding without causing a problem then don't respond? It baffles me that actual adults still have this issue.

More like insecured people looking for ways to make themselves look superior to others by being toxic, seen way too many in RL.

Maybe when I grow a bit older I can start to emphatize with these kind of people, but not yet.
well, if you find you have the time to read some books on freud; everyone's' problems is from being breastfed not enough, or too much. and some of that toilet training stuff seems comically true in most cases. but mostly it is some rather good stuff (that is widely accepted) on the formation of the ID, ego and super ego.

supplement a little Maslow's hierarchy of needs; someone w/o basic security w/food, clothing and shelter will be severely limited in growth - may help your cognitive process. :)

that is your former psy101 student tutor lesson for the day. :D

it's the buyers fault tbh, the company put out some charts with random scales and numbers that have no relation between them showing you insulation is good or bad depending on what we sell.

An example in hand, Chamberlin allowed Hitler to invade Czechoslovakia supposing that by not responding would be the best approach.

Hard to know if this was a adult approach.

Just saying, not trying to prove your point.

Stay on topic please.

This was moderating. :D

Name calling is not about a little bias.
Here:
So again, why are you quoting me.

What's your point, I'll call all and any company , I avoid calling people name's on forums and wasn't suggesting that's right.

Calling companies,is fine with me, if I call your GPU maker and you get upset ,. IMHO that's on you ,you shouldn't be so sensitive, it's a company, made to make money out of you, not to be your football team.

And if my opinion is apposed to yours you are welcome to refute my claim as I know You have, all good.

All this for only Nvidia and A bit Intel.

That's laughable, I roamed these forums the five years I owned an Fx8350 , it wasn't /isn't always Nvidia and Intel getting stick ,nor should it be, I have not yet seen a company without claims that could be bashed to a degree.

Thankfully forums are much simpler than geopolitical issues and should never be confused, the issue with differentiating the two falls on the user.

Lets stay on topic.

I think at this point the thread has served it's purpose, I suppose it was always going to become a free for all but the different views are always interesting so I am going to close shop before the thread about toxicity cause any further toxicity :)
