We had an outage earlier today, should all be fixed now

i messaged @erocker with a page load mem problem ( was reaching 240 mb for forum main page ) mem load problem seems resolved ( now 12 to 18 mb for forum main page )
was this related to the Server Problem ?

Ps Thanks for resolving problem and getting site back up

Using the Techpowerup app on my iPod Touch Gen5. Looking at the review of the Rm650i, it locks up every time I try to use the drop down for the different pages.

I Have no idea on that
my thoughts were
Site was producing errors failing to load because of serverside script errors ( the Site Crashing )
Server resources not loading causing my Browser (firefox ) to use ever increasing amounts of mem on the tab with TPU on ( it peaked out at 250mb ) to try and load the page by contrast as i type this the page/tab load is 15mb ).

I do Expect that this was related ( from my end ) to the Crash
as i said earlier
Problem seems to have resolved itself with the Server reboot

Simples.... Just check out every comment posted in the last month - there is literally one spam per article, without fail - If you comment on it, they will come. All them "my friend Lori just made $100000 working from home..." shit posts.

Before it was every so often but now it seems to be every damn time i post theres a bot that replies with spam.

Huh, I checked some posts from today and yesterday and they were semi clean. Lemme go digging.

EDIT: Opened every article with comments since May 4th - no spam? Perhaps it got deleted by actual Disqus staff - they're pretty slow at managing their message boards.

fair enough, It just seems like every time i comment there, I get spammed and I see it happening when other people post too. Sorry if i've wasted your time. I know this is really an issue with Disqus - Maybe we need a better platform

Yeah it seems one of the database servers crashed and didnt self-heal properly for a while

On the front page, the panel on the right side that shows new posts, reviews, drivers, etc. seems to have been pushed down to the bottom of the page ever since the revamp.

on my firefox (ver 46.01 ) its disappeared completely unless you click the Right sidebar icon to then show the Right Sidebar menu its then Normal ( no problems )

I get a costant issue, i dont know if its common,or has a cause that is inherant to the platform, but when im on my tablet,i cannot for the life of me,copy and paste on TPU. Even after loading the site as desktop on android.i can copy, but cannot paste in a post/thread. I can paste into the insert image,or link/media option boxes, but not into the comment field like where im typing this very message.

The mobile device is a Samsung galaxy tab4.android 4.4.2 ,iirc "kitkat"

I'm using Firefox all day and never seen that issue. You don't mean the right bar disappearing on narrow screens, but rather you mean it drops down below the main content ?

Do you have any strange addons installed that might be messing with the site layout?

Working as intended for resolutions below 900 width or so

Yeah, I've got 1920 width and it drops below the main content. Only add-ons I have are Adblock Plus and NoScript (though it's enabled for the site).
