TPU Site issues 2016/17

Just FYI , Sometimes the 502 page show:: nginx/1.10.1 where as some are 1.11.1
now back to our regularly scheduled E'tainment

10 minutes ago i had constant errors 503's etc. It wouldn't allow me to leave a page I was on, reply or go to the home page.

i tried to post it when it was happening, but the old "report issues" thread was closed to further rep[lies....then i saw this one a moment ago.

What i get when I got to the front part of TPU, several times. I know why, its all AMD'S fault!

It was about 45 seconds while I made some config changes, but please keep reporting.

I'm sorry, no sarcasm. Please keep reporting, I just wanted to provide some info on what happened.

Kept getting 503s around 0600ish today. Perfect now.

@W1zzard have you upgraded the forum software? The Android app has got some new features and I see that the connection is now HTTPS.

Edit: and it posted properly and really quickly too. Very nice.

I finally got around to making some changes:
- HTTPS for all connections, which means HTTP2 for most browsers, which makes pageloads incredibly quick.
- Instead of sending all traffic to one instance, with the others as backup, all traffic is now going to all instances in round-robin, which should increase our capacity severalfold

I think the Android app is having issues with the https redirect for all http connections.

Took me 3 attempts to get in just, first attempt said Proxy error, 2nd said certificate error, 3rd attempt 2 minutes later and I got in.

on reflection it must have been implemented yesterday evening (GMT)
i had no problem apart from having to re enter user name and password to log on

Edit: NVM, CTRL + F5 fixed it.

ive got no images of it, but ive had several (5 -10) server time outs, or 404's or some type of non-remarkable error today, they have seemed to stop , havent had one in the last few hours.

uploading image is completely broken. I tried 3 different browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft edge) and everytime I select my jpg image it just does nothing. The image size per file is less than 2MB

Yes or more specifically I tried posting those pictures here and my FS thread got shut down because the MOD demanded the pictures be uploaded on this site and the uploader keeps doing nothing.

A few days ago the site was down for me, tried the TPU app on my android phone and it said my phone had a virus, it had a count down and link button to "remove" the virus.
I did not click on it and exit the app. Later on the TPU site was working again for me and I deleted and reinstalled the TPU app, which was working again. No virus alerts anymore.

When we switched to https the app stopped working, I changed it so that the app will work over http too
