Here is everything you need to know about it. I was so drawn into Tribes when it first came out.. My best friend at the time, and I would switch from FF3 and Tribes.. Then when Tribes 2 came out, we threw it on all the PC's we had in our Media class room to lan it to death and back!

IMO, this games does have a steep learning curve. But once you nail it, its pure skill, something that no other online multiplayer game can match.

one of the best games ever, although not as good as the first as cheats became available for this which would spoil the fun. but the vehicles and deployables are excellent. I'd try but i'm too far away to get on a decent server

Hey, oddly enough it still takes for fucking ever to load. I went from playing on a Celeron 600MHZ with 128MB of ram and a geforce 2 MX400 to my current rig and it still takes about the same time to load up a map.
