hello, i am trying to figure out what this software is and how to remove, it is called savingscool. when I click uninstall it opens browser to this link ttp://uninstall.savings.cool/ but it will not remove. what can I do?

yes i tried to click on uninstall from CP, after i click on it, takes me to the website and will not uninstall.
 
That's a PuP browser add-on ,also after removing u need to be very careful about what you do and what do you click and download. My guess is you got it from a legitimate download in the form of a check box that you neglected to uncheck . Because nowadays not saying you don't want something is the same as saying you do want it ,apparently. I don't know why but it is the way it is

Malwarebytes will remove it. There's also several tools Malwarebytes has for free that would most likely find it as well.
 
That's borderline malware. :nutkick: The fixes suggested here should work for you.
