Unlock the shaders - AMD Radeon RX 560D

Hello!

I have MSI RX 460 OC 2gb. I want to unlock 1024 shaders and retain UEFI compatibility. What would be the best way to approach this?

I've tried to modify VBIOS using pattern provided by Pavle (thanks!) and then fix checksum using Polaris BIOS Editor. It unlocked GPU successfully (1024 in GPU-Z), but broke UEFI VBIOS.

I've been thinking about flashing VBIOS from a different card, but AMDflash on Windows does not allow that.

Is it possible to fix not only checksum, but also the cryptographic seal or whatever? Or should I try flashing firmware from a different card under Linux? Which card should I take firmware from?

Thanks.

Update from later today: I've flashed VBIOS from Sapphire's RX 560 2gb (for Hynix memory, from overclock.net's package), works like a charm; 1024 CUs @ 1300 MHz with properly working UEFI. I think card throttled under FurMark to 1100 MHz, either because of heat or because of 75W power limit. GeekBench 5 score went up significantly, to 25707! Glad I did that.

Does it not have an external power connector? If it doesn't, you'll be lucky to get 75 W. (like GeForce GT 640, where it's only slot-powered)

No, mine does not. I think I saw up to 68-70W while running FurMark.

For me, higher CU count is more useful than higher clocks, so I'm fine with it.

Olá,

Alguém aqui pode me ajudar a desbloqueá-lo para 1024 shaders completos :)

Anexei meu estoque de captura de tela do BIOS + GPUZ

Eu ficaria muito feliz se alguém desbloquear o BIOS.

What would it unlock to? I know only of 7850s and 7950s unlocking into the their 70 counterparts

And we all know a R9 280X is a HD7970 GHz edition.

R9 380s were R9 285s...
