Thank you
This is the BIOS file:

i just tried to perform the modification inside the bios to try and unlock it but unfortunately the values that would be changed inside the bios are not there.

your next best option is to try and see if mnasty can upload his bios. i can recommend one but cant make any guarantees as to if it will work.

I've tried many procedures but couldn't unlock it. I will contact mnasty to see if his bios unlocks my card.

You may have a lazer cut chip and there is nothing in the world gonna help you unlock.
As Far as i am aware it was only the Early cards that were unlockable ( i may be wrong)

Hey guys, I'm back after a while. Just to say I succeeded to unlock my Saphire RX560 Pulse OC after few test … first was to flash BIOS of the normal version, but sadly my computer started to freeze randomly. However, I decided to go with tutorial given here (modifying HEX values in original bios), and now it's stable (GPU@1350Mhz / VRAM@1850Mhz) with stock voltages. Thank you all for the support !
Now I would like to know if I need to modify power limit and others things in BIOS with Polaris to ensure card will not be limited, or just modifying that HEX value is enough ?

You say it is stable now. Enjoy it.

If it becomes unstable at a later date, adjust it then.

Yes, that's right. However I wanted to make it clean, so I finally decided to update bios to be 100% conform with unlocked version values, especially regarding power settings but also memory settings which I optimized with Polaris Bios Editor 1.6.7. Now all is perfect … but I'm quite annoyed that I need to patch drivers with AMD Pixel Clock to make usable the card.

Is there any way to patch modde bios to make it … 'genuine' ?

No due to device ID/ subsystem IDs being different, it changes the hash/md5 rate.

Just enjoy it as is.

Hi to All, i have a Sapphire Pulse RX 550 (11268-16) Baffin LE A1(according to my bios), with 10 cu/640sp , did anyone had luck unlocking this model to 12/14/16 CU .. theoretically it can be up to 16 right ?

Also i'm new to this so a couple more questions :)...
1. Does unlocking the GPU affects general performance and gaming also, or just mining (since i am not interested in mining, this might not be for me).
2. Does it increase TPD by a lot, since my gpu already runs hot at 65 under heavy load. i mean locked as it is does those cores get a current inside them and still produce heat or they are totally passive and act like they are not even there.
3. Does it increase power consumption by the same % of unlocked CU, i am concerned about pci-e 2.0 not providing enough power to a unlocked rx550 since there is no 6-pin power connector. The gpu core alone now draws around 40 W at peak, 30W typical, how much would be for the whole card ? how much more should i expect from the whole card ?
4. What are the negative sides of editing the bios in this way, does it creates problems with future drivers updates, or reusing the gup on another pc or in games or decoding or watching movies or something else ? ... i'm brainstorming here :)
5. Can a bad bios flash permanently destroy my card or as long as i have a secondary gpu or igpu i can flash the original no matter how bad a bios i put in the first place. And would flashing back to the original bios make the card same as it was with no drawbacks. My idea is if i can flash bios indefinitely, i just try many from other cards like rx560 or rx460 since they also use baffin core and pray it works.
6. The last thing that bothers me, even though in my bios says baffin le a1 and in gpu-z it says polaris 21, i removed the headsink and the numbers on my code does not mach other cards i have seen on internet, on mine the core code is 1725, and the most polaris 21 i found on net are 1702 and baffin le 1623, so i am a wondering does my card is actually a baffin le or something else entirely.

Thanks in advance for your answers, and i am sorry for the long post, i hope someone will help me with some of my dilemmas :)

It is only 560Ds that were known to unlock

Hello everyone (sorry my bad english). I just bought a video card Sapphire Pulse Radeon rx 560 2 Gb 11267-22-20 which then has 14 CU and 896 SP (this: http://www.sapphiretech.com/productd...0D672&lang=eng), I wanted to know if there is a bios already modified for this card that allows me to unlock the 16 CU and 1024 SP. Also being the version that consumes only 45 W (is the one without the 6-pin power connector), I wanted to know if the modding of the bios (without overclock) would still increase consumption, or lead to malfunctions. Thank you.

Obviously if you manage to increase the number of cores, the power consumption will increase.
You need the extra power connector.

So modifying the bios the card does not work anymore since it does not have a 6-pin power supply?

Pretty Sure it was only the earlier Cards ( with aux power connector)That were moddable
