With AMD Ryzen and Ryzen second generation being on the market for some time we are wondering what processor you use in your main rig.

4790k still going strong here :)

Ditto and I’ve never even OC’’d it’s fine at 4.4 IMO

First gen lowest end Ryzen here, and I love it.

One of the few Kaby Lakes here.. Probably will be for some time.

Still rocking a 3770K. Have a 7700HQ in the lappy I'll be switching to soon.

im still using westmere-ep first gen late and final cpu from that line up also only 3.60ghz 12mb cache from that line up

4770K @ 4,5 GHz, not planning on replacing it anytime soon. Maybe when i5s will be 8C/8T.

Currently running an E5-2650v1 (8C/16T), but have an E5-2680v2 (10C/20T) on the way.

4790k looking for an upgrade once intel gets their 8 core mainstream stuff out and the prices on quad/hex drop some more.

i5 2500
until to its very last breath (obviously the mainboard will die before the CPU)

Hm, where is 5th generation? Haswell-E ?

Laptop: AMD A9-9420
Hybrid netbook: Intel Atom Z8300
Desktop: intel Core i7 5820K @ 4.5 GHz

Can't vote cuz you seem to have skipped intel 5 series

4770K @ 4.4Ghz here. Been using it ever since I built my current rig & never really saw a need to replace it. Still goes strong.

I will remain using my old outdated PC until Intel fixes security bugs at the hardware level as they promised to do. I am assuming that wont happen until 9th gen or maybe 10th when new arc gets implemented.

In Order from most to least used

FX-8350
i7-970
i5-6300HQ
i7-2600
