What Speakers Are You You Using For Your Computer

I've "downgraded" my audio setup today. Used to run a semi-crappy Microlab B77, which will likely migrate to my office.
Got me a new Samsung Viewfinity S6 Ultra monitor, which as a bonus also became a webcam upgrade (pops up from the top, and definitely beats my 11+y.o. Logi C270), and it has decent 2x5W speakers. I think the closest experience to this are the old 27" iMac drivers: nice clean sound, some resemblance of bass etc. I think it's a solid #2 on my "the best $250 I ever spent" list.
Initially I wanted to keep my 2.0 setup, but built-in speakers really surprised me. Less wires, less switches to flip and knobs to turn, more desk space etc.

P.S. At least I got some motivation to clean up my work desk a little :D

P.P.S.I used to like the idea of having nice speakers on my PC, but realistically I will never-ever use them to their full potential. These squeekers get the job done just fine. And for spatial audio on PC - headphones are the only good option. Used to have a 5.1 setup several times in the past and it sucked every single time. Settled on stereo more than 10 years ago, and never looked back. Not sure if 5.1/7.1 is still relevant for TVs and home theaters, since I only watch TV to put me to sleep.

I'm using these Edifier R1700BT speakers that I scored at a thrift store for $18 a couple of years ago.

Shrek is there guarding them along with my PKCells (yes, I'm a DankPods fan).

I just run them from the analog output on my monitor.

I personally think they sound absolutely amazing. Highs are nice and crisp with the 0.75" dome tweeters, mids are clear, and bass is surprisingly good for 4" woofers.

If I ever need to replace them, I'll probably try something else from Edifier in that product family.

I also have some Samson SR850 headphones, and those are amazing for the price.

I have these old Genius Speakers that is as Old as time itself but they work perfectly fine. I eventually finished my car sound system for my pc over the weekend after almost 2 years. I still use my Genius for youtube etc :D. I just can't get rid of them as they are like furniture.

Edifier R2000DB Probably the best speaker I've ever used on My computer

Logitech Z506 5.1 speakers - had them for 8 or 9 years now. I don't use them that often because no one wants to hear the games I'm playing or shows I'm watching on the computer so I generally have my Logitech G35 headset on.

I still have my old Creative Labs Inspire 5200 5.1 speakers. They haven't been used for over a decade, just packed away in a box.

**Edit**
Would be fun to connect the Bose 10.2 Solid Oak tower speakers my step-dad gave me and my 12" Sony sub to my computer and shake the house when playing games.

I disconnected my Klipsch 5.1 speakers, Kenwood sub and Sony receiver because I was tired of the receiver hogging up so much of my desk. I went to a set of Logitech z623s I had lying around and man do they sound like shite. I've got to find time to get something else ASAP. These things are awful.

My SIL has 3 or 4 sets of Cerwin Vega monster speakers (the 3 foot tall ones with 10-12 inch subs) in his garage for yard parties. Hooked up to his laptop with a 75in TV for a monitor. He plays games on it when they get tired of playing music. It's hilarious. Sounds like there's a war going on when he's playing COD with his friends, it's sooo loud he's had people call the police thinking there was actually a firefight happening. I'll take a picture if I can remember.

i´m using best speakers ever, look at my system specs. 105 decibel clear with 8 inch sub. yes police have come several times.

Some Logitech 2.1 setup. Z-333, I think.

Creative Cambridge SoundWorks DTT2200 5.1 as default ALC1220 pc output
and
Yamaha RX-V350 AV Home system 5.1 from pc Optical output

Presonus Eris 5.5's. Every inch you add to your speaker size exponentially increases the wall of sound. They dwarf my 4.5's in power, and makes Eris 3.5 users and passive bookshelf speaker users look like the worthless plebeians they are, while at the same time - 5.5 is still a manageable size to fit on your desk.

When I am in the mood, I use my Audio Technica ATH- R70x's reference headphones plugged into my SMSL DO400 DAC so I can accurately dissect every note I listen to or have an unfair advantage in FPS.

I'm using Presonus Eris 3.5, but I've fallen in love with the AudioSmile LBM (Little British Monitor):

Logitech x 530's and Roccat KAVE XTD headset.

One of our stations sports Klipsch Reference R-41PM , Kanto SE4 stands , Audioengine S6 sub.
No dac or audiophilia connected just blue tooth for external devices and optical from a pc.

Klipsch tight and clean and connected especially up close
Kanto adequate for this application
S6 sealed cabinet...sounds tight and punchy in the small area that is servicing...I am trying figure out how to get it at face level

My main pc is running B&W CDM-1NT bookshelves and a PSA V1510DF 15" subwoofer.
I power them with a NAD 2400PE THX power amplifier that is connected via preouts to a Yamaha RX-V863 receiver.

I'm still using the old Logitech Z5500 5.1 Speakers no issues.
