What Speakers Are You You Using For Your Computer

Pair of JBL 306P MkII and a JBL LSR310S sub with my old ass Asus Essence STX 2

For my big main system these, for my other systems all JBL Professional powered monitors and subs. This picture was taken 8 years ago when I was setting them up in my old place. I just moved all of the power amps and wiring to my new place on Saturday. Those are EV Sentry III's, Sentry 500's and Sentry 100a's. Each stack weighs around 300 pounds and there are two of them. I use all Pro studio gear.

The moment I see BT or (any kind) of wireless connection they lost me. Let me be clear, I don't hate the usage, I just hate the result. Also my P580 were something about 40 Euros at that time (charger had a fried transistor). Kinda hard to beat at that price. :)

Otherwise I don't even use speakers on my PC at all.

@EddieTan just saw those images, nice to see Logitech have picked and licensed DTS:X with their newer models. Excellent choice.

Arguable one of the best brands is or was Neumann (and now that I said that I just jinxed myself), they are the old remnants of the real Sennheiser. Some of their monitors compete with monitors worth 2-3times as much. They hit you like a KTM 360 when you crack the throttle. Sound is very sharp and revealing. Outrageous sound for dollars they were, they obviously had really good passionate engineers.

Of course a good pair of headphones is a must, they provide diversity and the two complement and strengthen each other. The amazing trhing about cans is you don't need ANY sound treatment AT ALL, and can use them ANYTIME you want. :)

I've been using the Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 speakers for almost five years at this point. They sound lovely considering they cost less than US$40. I also appreciate that they have a very small footprint on my desk, but they are a bit of a mess since there's a lot of cables that you have to deal with (USB power, 3.5 mm cable, other speaker cable, subwoofer cable). I think it's a go-to option for good low-cost computer speakers. I could get something better, but I don't feel the need to.

Logitech Z-5500 before, are now Hooked up to my tv. Why waste money on a Soundbar when they can do it.

To my pc Logitech Z-906.

I went with the full 7.1 surroundsound Klipsh. I don’t like wearing headphones. And this stuff is awesome.
Soundbars are a joke. They don’t give you any real sense of direction. The bar in front of you just makes you think everything that happens is in front of you.

Still rockin my roughly 20 year old Klipsch Pro Media 5.1 surround speakers, connected to my equally ancient Sony receiver with a new Yamaha 12 inch sub, because of course the Klipsch sub died years ago. Still have it all boxed up and ready to be shipped off so it can be reconditioned by a dude on eBay. Problem is, he wants $250 to do it and well, the cheap monster won the battle on that one...for now. Damn receiver takes up a ton o desktop real estate!

I am using Creative T20 series 2 and yeah they are small but they sound pretty good......

Digi-opt to a Sony STR-K-665P to a pair of Cerwin Vega LS5s (hung on the walls). For added boost, I also reused the SSWMSP66 sub, put it under the desk, and with a chair pillow from a ThunderX3, I made a footstool.
