I own a Modded Socket 771 Xeon E5450 @3.0 but was at 3.6 at a point

I can see this being a car crash.
Imagine that poor Vega M NUC owner, who has both in same machine. It's technically a CPU/APU.

It's all even so far, I'm surprised. 28 all.

fully functional:

Ryzen 5 3600
Phenon black edition
an old intel laptop I got for free

Built but without psu

athlon 64 single core
PIII 550
athlon XP 2100+
and some others that are just the mobo memory and cpu, mostly AMD

We have five modern AMD machines and a retro P4 and P3 at home. Where we live price has been a huge factor with Intel always being much more expensive.
I can also say the same for AMD/Nvidia, but that's another story.

AMD because I can't afford Intel.

Double vote for me. Desktop and laptop.

I own platforms for both all the way back to the slot processor days. Voted for both.

For all the comments that nobody buys Intel anymore it's a shock for sure :D

Both, primary desktop is AMD but workstation and laptop are intel because I need more stability on those.

Main PC is 12900K
Server is AMD 3900X
Laptop #1 is AMD ryzen + Radeon
Laptop #2 is Macbook Pro with M1 Pro chip.

My main PC is AMD (5800X), and my main laptop (1135G7), server (E3-1260L), and testing PC (E3-1270 v3) are Intel.

Nearly all of my other computers are Intel with the exception of my old PC (2600X), my nostalgic PC (Athlon X2 3800+), and my Steam Deck.

For my personal rigs I have been diehard Intel/Nvidia since Prescott 2004. I've built many of both AMD and Intel.
Now I have an AMD Ryzen 5600G HTPC and a few Intel machines i7 6700K, i7 9700K, i5 4570, i3 on my server. I've built about 3 AMD Ryzens 5800X for other people as they requested them.
I've bought 3 Intel CPUs in the last two weeks.
My opinion, they both perform great. There is not clear winner so to speak. As usual AMD runs a little hot but has a better price point.

Almost forgot, I too have an old Athlon X2 4200+ with a Nvidia 8800GTX that still runs

You can vote for both though.
Unfortunately one cannot vote for Apple Silicon nor Arm. I'm assuming that most Chromebooks feature Arm SoCs.

I know my Mac mini 2018 (Intel Core i7) will be replaced by an Apple Silicon model at some point. There's a small chance I might switch to a Mac Studio.

I also have a Raspberry Pi 4 which dual-boots LibreElec/Kodi (default OS) and Raspbian (2-3 times a year to upgrade firmware).

Voted for both since I do run whatever at any time.
In fact just did a swap from an AMD setup (AMD 3950x - ASSRock X470 Taichi Ultimate) to an Intel setup and this is the first post I've done with it since the swap, competed about 15 minutes before this post.

ATM my daily is now a 7700K in an Apex IX board running an EVGA GTX 960 and all is working great.

now i'm running intel since i need low power eater

I previously Owned a Slt 1 Celeron 333, Skt 423 Willamette 1.7, Skt Northwood 2.4, Skt 462 Barton 3200/2500M.

Currently own my Sig Rig

My system list.

PC - 4650g pro
xbox series s
Nintendo switch.

Which means intel = 0, amd = 2, nvidia = 1.

I like the odds.

What system do you have?

On May 31, 2002 I built my first own desktop PC and since that day I've only had AMD processors in my desktop computer - starting with AMD Duron 950 MHz, AMD Athlon XP, AMD Phenom, Phenom II and finally AMD FX-8300, which I still use on a daily basis. 20 years of AMD processors and not a single problem. And now with Zen - I think I'll stick to AMD again.

That being said - I do have a notebook with an Intel Core i3 inside. Bought it in 2013 when I needed a notebook and at that time AMD did not have anything to offer on this market. Sorry, AMD! But if AMD had a good mobile processor back in 2013 there's no doubt I would have chosen AMD again.

I rock both, but in the last 4yrs Ive built 3 AMD Machines for myself since socket AM4 is the best socket thats every existed! you be mad not to.

Hmm.
Ryzen 5 5600x
Ryzen 5 3600
Athlon 5350
Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (not in use)
K6-2 400 (not in use lol)

Technically a couple of Zen 2s in the PS5 and XSX
And Jaguars in the PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X

I think that's it for AMD stuff.

Core i3 1005G1 (thin notebook)
Core i7 3770k
Atom Z3736F (old tablet I use as a weather screen)
Atom x5 Z8300 (old tablet)
Atom N270 (old netbook I use with OBD tool on cars)
Core 2 Duo E8400 (not in use)
Core 2 Duo E6300 (not in use)
Some Pentium D laptop from about 2008, can't quite remember
Mobile Pentium 4-M 2.5GHz (not in use)
The Celeron/Pentium 3 hybrid in OG Xbox I suppose
Pentium MMX 166

Need a similar thread for GPU's now. I know some people here are sitting on a mountain of old cards
My system list.

Nvidia use an ARM module inside the Tegra X1. So Arm = 1 ;)

AM4 certainly has been long lived. Never expected it to run through this many CPU gens. Given old 300 boards have been getting updates to support Zen3 is brilliant for customers.

(Not counting systems that were lost/stolen/given away)

Active (fully assembled):
- AMD R5 8600G,
- Intel i5 8250u,
- Intel i7 4770k,
- Intel pre-core Celerons (laptop).

Inactive (at least a mobo with CPU and ram installed, but no PSU nor chassis nor storage):
- Intel i7 930,
- Intel Pentium-D something (Desktop).

voted both, main rig AMD, retro rigs mixed AMD/Intel, potential retro (CPU MOBO unassembled ) mixed AMD/Intel

although i can't see myself going Intel for next upgrade  for retro well yeah  since it's the only mean to get decent pricing on old gen top dogs ahah
