I never heard of them until I won a 8800GT from them They make some awesome cards, just don't see any of them at newegg anymore Hopefully they get some awesome HD 5000's out when I go to buy those.

That's not much.. Mostly low end crap. I'm talking HD 4800's and GTX's.

most people never heard of palit because its main market is asia, i read an article that says that palit is evga from eastern europle and asia and lately they started to get in the american market.

Here 80% of the videocards are from XFX and most people doesn't even know ati or nvidia, people refers to them as "geforce" and also tho 99% of the people here the only thing that matters is the amount of ram, for example if u give them to choose between a 9600 gso of 384 mb or a 8600 gt with 1gb they will choose the 8600gt.

i had a bad experience with XFX. I bought 2 8800GT's from them after xmas beginning of jan, first one lasted 3 months then died. i had lent my other GT to my bro in college but he siad it didn't work in his pc or his friends they wouldn't boot up. i put it in mine after setting my dead GT aside and i can only get it to work if i downclock it, it has died now also bout 3 weeks ago. was going to RMA but fosters wouldn't send it , but i'm going to try them again cause they have a very nice price for the GTX 260 black edition that is clocked just as high as the EVGA FTW edition but it's 50 bucks cheaper. like said go with the brands XFX, BFG, Evga, or Zotac. Then look at prices for their performance, i couldn't believe the diffference between XFX's top 260 and Evga's top 260 kinda rediculous.

thx but i've been through all i cna think of, bios'es with the help of solaris17 as well as countless troubleshooting and what not, just going to stay with the 7800GTX will xmas then like i said GTX 260 black edition can't wait

cards die all the time makes no difference to me if it is a xfx or a galaxy
and as for warranty ill be damned if any company wont give me an RMA it'll be trading standards for them!!! as long as its still in date of course

palit make good cards generally but for me i just buy whatever card has the best cooling, price and overall features

evga, xfx, bfg (big friendly giant) are all the same to me high prices and decent warranty length

every card manufacturer is up for my cash im no fan boy that is stupid!
oh second hand cards are good too, i have a second hand evga otherwise id never own one why pay £30-£20 more just for a name

right now my cash would go to any gtx 260/280 they are all basically the same
a sapphire toxic 4870 or a his iceQ 4870
palit 4850 and his iceQ 4850

IceQ because it has the best cooling available but not too dear, the sapphire toxic has the best cooling for a 4870 but is dear

the mad palit 3 slot 4870 x2 is uber! other than that all other 4870 x2 are the same different clocks possibly

under that cards like 9600gt and 4730 are all down to cooler, price ect

I have had 2 EVGA cards die on me but i was vary hard on them.I voltmod about every video card i have sometime or another and the EVGA cards i had just couldn't take it. The BFG cards i have had took the voltmod good for the most part. I am running a BFG 8800GT with a slight voltmod (1.2v) and its been working just fine.The Asus card that i did a volt mod on died in about a week but to be fair it was about 5 years old. The Zotac card that my friend is using now took a volt mod its a 8600GT and keeping up with a 8600GTS without a problem it. the only reason i put Asus higher up is because it was an old card and i wanted to be fair

I've had three EVGA cards and none have failed. I can't really judge their customer service as a result, but their cards have certainly done fine quality wise. In fact, the only card I ever had fail was an ATI branded X800 XL three years ago.

I have had all 4 as of late and all 4 have been very good . To ask what is the best is more a matter of who you think is the best . The fact is that they use chips from the manufacture and make there product according to there spec's with some slight modifications here and there , Like over clocking the GPU , RAM . Some use better HSF's and then there is the quality of the parts them selves , But all in all they are all good and they are all made to make YOU think they are the best there in lies the perception of the buyer .

yes i forgot to mention xfx's support, it's good thought it may take 1-3 days for them to answer you support ticket but when they do they try to help and they know what they're doing and talking about, and will offer RMA quickly if your problem isn't solved, i just never shipped

After months of dicking around I am going to get a gtx 260. The last few cards I had were all evga, is any one really any better?
