Those who vote democrat are stupid? You started out this thread effective, but have come to seem extremely closed minded and repetitive. You have your beliefs and others have theirs. They may be short-sighted, perhaps unable to clearly see the future, but to call them stupid is ignorance in it's ugliest form.
Democrat voters typically believe the following:
1- Anyone rich stole it or cheated someone out of it
2- There is such a thing as Government money
3 - Governments role is to take care of people
4 - people are victims of circumstance, not responsible for their own actions
And all of the above are WRONG.
Our constitution tells us what the government CANT to, but we let it anyway. Amendment 10 - The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
A modern translation would be: All powers not granted the United States by this constitution are reserved for the respective states, and the people. Meaning, All Power comes from the people. From the people to the states, and from the states to the federal. This is why the SENATE was originally elected by the state governments - a method that ought to be restored post-haste....
Government has no POWER unless taken from (or given by) the people.
Government has no MONEY unless taken from (or given by) the people.
For the government to GIVE YOU money, as Mr. Barry Obama has promised, it must first be taken from someone else.
Are you saying that you believe Barry and the Congress are so much wiser than you? That they know better what to do with your income than you do? Because that is a true belief of Democrat politicians as well... I can't find it now, but there is a video and audio of Bill Clinton talking against "tax cuts" because he's afraid you won't spend it right... (*sigh*).
In the mind of a democrat / stateist, all money is property of the state, and you're lucky they let you keep some.
What obama plans to do is tantamount to slavery.
1 - you own your life, and are guaranteed it. The right to life, liberty, and property is how it was originally phrased, changed by Ben Franklin to "the pursuits of happiness".
2 -you trade bits of your life, your labor, to your employer in exchange for money.
3 - along comes the government. Besides the fees for services that are common good (provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare (i.e. ensure that one group is not abusing another -- in the 1770's welfare did not mean "handout", but that word was co-opted by the dems in the 60's to support the 'constitutionality' of the "great society"...)), they say "bob needs your money, so I'll take another 12%..."
That part there - taking money without receipt of service - is unconstitutional, evil, immoral, and, down right mean spirited.
When obama implements his tax hikes, and all these small businesses go bust or lay off people, we'll all see that he's baked a cake full of rocks and cowchips...
