Hey,

Got Windows7 installed on monday and sofar it's been perfect with my games (UT3, CSS, COH:OF etc.)

But i installed and patched ClearSky and it it keeps telling me to insert the disc :-/. It worked fine in Vista, and i've tried it in Vista Compatibily too.

So, there's that. And i'm wanting to know if games like COD4/5 and Fallout3 etc. all work in Windows7? I don't want to spend and be let down.

Thanks in advance.

I have Fallout 3 and it works perfectly with Windows 7. Not sure about COD4/5 since I don't have those, but I would think that they would work just fine.

Try Troubleshoot Compatibility
I've tried GTA4, Fallout 3, GRID and Crysis Warhead. Ran without problems :)

cod4 won't work becuase punkbuster doesn't support windows 7 yet

COD is fine if you play singleplayer

Oops, I completely forgot about that, so that means COD5 wouldn't work either.

All the games I've tested are: GRID, FO3, C&C3, Mirrors Edge, COH, Sins of a Solar Empire, UT3, and AOE3. All of those games have worked flawlessly for me.

COD4 and 5 work in single and mp

alright, thanks for the repiles. I'll try and get FallOut3 soonish. Got a week off :D

Don't forget Windows 7 is still in Beta form; bugs and glitches are to be expected!!
Anyone think its interesting how people already treat Windows 7 as a fully fledged OS?

Hrmm, I'm playing QuakeLive in Windows 7 without any issues. QLive uses PunkBuster. But, I haven't gotten around to reinstalling CoD4.

Punkbuster works for me.

It must run with administrative rights, so go add yourself with "God" powers and then allow it to run under your credentials.
