WoT Guide Sample

For those of you who care here is a taster/sample of what is to come with my guide, work on the content is under way, but as I stated earlier I am waiting on hearing from some dev's on WoT for some pieces of information.

Firstly before anyone knows, the Russian translation on the title is WAY WAY off, it is an auto online one but I am working on getting a full translation soon, I am also thinking of including the German (since these are the two prominent nations in this game at present). I am unsure at present though.

It seems annoying but obviously once the full game is released content will change etc to follow the full release (I believe it'll only be the US tech tree to be added)

http://www.2shared.com/document/IX46ypp2/WoT_guide-Sample.html

NOW WORKING, Sorry folks.

Looking good. The proper translation would be "ХэлФаира гайд для Мир Танков" (I was born in Russia) :toast:

Hopefully this patch they mentioned on the forums today fixes my targeting problems. I can't manually target and hit someone ever. So I either have to play using auto targeting which seems to suck or just play artillery. I have sub 60ms ping all the time, during low play times I have sub 30ms but the lag icon is always yellow or red and I get the horrible enemy warping crap.

I have played this for a few hours and really enjoy it, despite the fact I am crap, I am on the T46 with everything upgraded and the auto 37mm plus I have the SU 18 I think it is (2nd SPG up on russian), now with the 120mm howitzer mod, thing is, because the beta has been out for a while, I seem to land in games where there are much more heavy and medium tanks now so i feel out gunned most of the time, I was in one battle yesterday where I was using the SPG with 120mm Howitzer and hitting a heavy leopard tank and each hit was only taking about 8%, I tracked it and hit it about 7 times to get it down to about 42% health and then just one shell from a friendly heavy wiped it out....... Sometimes I go 4 games without a kill, then on the odd one I will get 3 or 4 kills........ I have big hands so WSAD don't work well for me!

Is it just me or is the Auto aim a waste of time?

Anyone got an idea roughly when the full version is expected? I will def buy this, also it's been a while since the last update came out, any news of any further updates?

Don't know about updates Tatty_One but I had the same issue as you, as soon as I got my BT-7 I was put in games with much better and heavier tanks. Needles to say, I pretty much got my a$$ handed to me :wtf:

I think I'm going to stick with my BT-2 to keep playing in "light tank" scenarios :rockout:

Rush to their base with the BT7 and crash into an arty if they ahve some shoot a few times and kill it. Oh and try to stay alive.

Auto aim is only good for static objects but then again if youre good without it you can find the weakspots better. Also the full game WILL BE FREE! :D

Since the new update last week which added the American tank tree, improved the graphics, improved tha balance and stopped the stuttering/warping, this game has really taken off, for those that played early on and got a little frustrated, give it another go now!
