its a sub-$50 fix just trying to help and the water will be moving fast enough he wont have to worry to much about heat :roll:

I'm gonna have to say to go with the Laing DDC with the Petra's top. It will be plenty for your setup. As DOM said, he runs 4 blocks and a 3x120MM rad on his with no problems.

Before you buy that tho, I would suggest reseating the cpu block. Make sure you get good coverage with the thermal paste. I personally don't use the dot method. I draw a line of paste across one edge of the cpu, and use a credit card (or something similar) to spread it across the cpu. I've always had the best success with that method.

Another option would be to go with a different cpu block. The Storm is a flow hungry block. It may be cheaper for you just to buy an Apogee GT or Maze 4. I've had both, and they're both excellent blocks for the price.

turns out the paste didnt spread after i put the block on... now im back to typical temps thankfully.... idle at 34 and cant seem to get her to peak past 57degrees....

im only at a 26% OC right now so i will most definitely consider replacing the pump with one of the suggested ones, i apologize for making you guys assume that it was installed right in the first place, but i glanced at it this morning and had to run to school for some stuff, where i spent most of my time on th forums haha
