AT THIS TIME u had no chance to flash to an x1900xt only the pro cores can be..I need more points at 3d benchmark 05...U have how much points at 3dmark with ya gt?

you NEED more points eh? Don't let 3dmark scores drive you crazy man... 3dmark does not accurately represent what your card can do in a video game.

If you seriously want to get the most out of 3dmark05 then format the hd, disable as many services as you can, turn off system restore and performance monitoring, open 3dmark05 then cntrl alt delete and end the process "explorer.exe." This will close what we percieve windows to be while leaving 3dmark05 running. Essentially, all you'll see is desktop.

To submit a result to the Futuremark ORB, you must first get a free account there by going to http://service.futuremark.com/orb/index.jsp. Once you make an account, you must run the benchmark you want to submit the result for, ie. 3D Mark 2001, 2003, 2005, or 2006. The PC Mark Suites are also available on the futuremark ORB site.

Once you've successfully completed the benchmark of your choice, click Online Result Browser. This button is right in the same window your score is displayed in. This will take you to the Futuremark ORB where you can then give your project result a title, description, etc. Once you've done that, check "Publish" and it will give you an ORB Service Link, which you can post on the forums.

why does it say "adapter not found"? i have 3.09 flash, typed in "atiflash -newbios -f -p 0 XXX.bin"

and it still says adapter not found. how can i check that it uses 0 and not another one?

You do not need a different version of atiflash, 3.09 is fine. Your adapter apparently is not 0. In this command "atiflash -newbios -f -p 0 XXX.bin" the zero you typed is representing your adapter. To find out what adapter you have type "atiflash -i". Simply substitute the new number with the 0 and everything should work fine .

nah it didnt work with 3.09.. couldnt find my X1900, found 3.15 (thought 3.09 was the latest) 3.15 found my card but no luck in flashing it... still 12p.

The case described (with the MOBOs) is little different. That "recognition" problem appears when AGP BIOS is flashed on PCI-E card or vice versa. Because of different instructions, pinouts, organization and so on. Even higher the memory clock shouldn't affect the access of the DOS program to the card's EEPROM if something else is not confused.

i doubt its the memory, it probably is something in the core.

Well, a friend of mina has a X1900XT a flash it with a XTX bios. All right at the moment.
After that he have edited the bios with Rabit to make a underV to 1,225v. He save the bios and made a flash.
The VGA didnt work well with a few artfacts on 2D.
When he tryed to flash back the card desapear just like yours.
He did all the flashes with winflash noob thing

Missing components on x1900GT

Here is a side by side comparison of the 1900XT and the 1900GT from Sapphire... notice that the GT model is missing the components in the highlighted area....

Perhaps this will help with you Bios hacking, these parts might need to be replaced to unlock the full R580 core.....
