X800 fuses data for unlocking

Got a R430 core. Any chance with this bad boy? Mines AGP.

Doesn't look good, have you checked for a lazer cut next to the core? You may be able to reconnect it with a conductive compound, but it looks like you may be stuck.

You've got a nice Overclock on the core, if you do manage to get the 16 pipes, that things gonna do well! Your memory's not gone quite as far as mine though, is it the samsung 2.0ns ram? I got mine up to 1110mhz.

Nahh i think ill leave her be. My mem i can only push to about 520-525mhz and core to about 470, after that my sytem hangs, i think it might be my PSU since it is only 300W.

Next my card, which I just got today, after reading about all that can be done to it..

I got the card here and was sure it was one of the ones that came into the 16 pipeline doable catagory...

Tried everything posted so far (software wise), as far as I am aware, but still 12 pipelines, but can get windows panel to show as a X800/X850 , but ATI tool still showed 12..

Yep that'd unlockable. There's 16 pipes available for that core, and there doesn't appear to be a lazer cut, so if you can find a bios for it, go ahead and get those extra pipes!

ShadowFlare is excelent at modding bioses to 16 pipes, so, if you could add your bios as an attachment in your next post, i'm sure he'll be able to help.

If your unsure about getting your bios, it's in the miscellaneous section of ATITool 'save vga bios to file'

Infrared can u check to see if mine is moddable? Its back in page 72 i dont think u commented on it, you just gave me a link to how to check for lasercut, I know how to check but no idea how to reconnect, and I'm never even sure if reconnecting will help... will ya help me out =D im running 560/540 I'm pretty sure I can get the memory higher

Here's your 16 pipeline modded bios again (I had posted it already, but some forum posts were lost recently). BTW, you have kind of an unusual card there; I've never heard of one unlockable to 16 pipelines and having slower memory speeds like that. Because of the slower memory speed, it won't be able to perform as well as the X800 XT PE even if you overclock, but the 16 pipelines will still make quite a bit of a difference, though.

as far as i can see, i have the same as Predi has.
but i don't have the VIVO Conector on the side, but it seems to be the exactly same card!!

im going to shut down my computer now to see the 16 or 20 in the back and see the core for the laser cut, but i think i won't be able to mod my card to 16 pipes !...

There is no way how to unlock pipes on any R430 core.
But dont give up. Post here your fuses data and cross your fingers
to get fuses data run AtiTool hold shift, click on Settings, release shift

Sorry you can not unlock pipes

CONFUG_ROM_FUSES tells the card how to work with pipes, but has no influence on the pipes lock. CONFUG_ROM_FUSES can be changed by flashing bios, but it will not help you to unlock pipes.

Your fuses data says no unlock possible sorry.
You can not use graphite to connect the bridge, because R480 cores dont have any bridge that can unlock pipes. They have it but on the other side of the core, where you cant get without destroying your card.

Yes you are right. Newer cards have a much smaller number of successful modifications.
