Most of us have a lot of games on our rigs that come and go.
But there seems to always be a "goto" game that when we get sick of playing everything else, we go back to for relaxation and a break from the current games.

For me it's Defense Grid : The Awakening. A TD game that I find easy on the brain, has great replayability and just gives me a break from the others for awhile.

What is your "goto" game or games?

At this period my GoTo game is Fallout 3.

When I have nothing to play at all I go back to The Sims 3.

Hmm, would probably have to be TF2 since it always makes me laugh :)

I have been into the Mystery Case File Games and also my long time fallback UT2K4

I like the original Fate- it's like solitaire with better graphics and weapons

Portal and Portal 2 are not bad for a getaway, but do not have the variety of replayability as a good tower defense game.

Minecraft and work on mining a tunnel so big it will never be done. XD

WoW for me

Counter Strike - Source (office) M3 some heads ;)

Starcraft, Crysis and Halo are the games I always install

I have a few that are always installed that I go to depending on my mood.

Defense Grid(Tower Defense)
Freelancer(Space "sim")
Counter Strike: Source(If you don't know, I hate you)
Hitman:Blood Money(Silent Assassin or all out Blood Bath) <--This one is probably the most used GoTo game

DotA, I have been playing it on and off for as long as I can remember.

Crysis for me. coming up with new ways to kill and messing with mods. gta iv can be fun as well for messing around .

Arma 2 and Minecraft

Left for Dead 1 and 2.

dirt3 now, it stat resets so often i havent actually finished it yet either ,though ive done years worth :)jk

I always have a Stalker installed at any given time. I also never get tired of playing Ace Combat 5.

I play a lot of UT2004 as well. Still a damn fun game, and still several servers online running. :toast:

Left for Dead 1 and 2.

Yep, these are great to fall back on. Fun and pretty much no thinking involved.

Transport Tycoon.

From eons ago. There is a free version now. Great game.

Pretty interesting inputs guys and gals.
Some of you seem to gravitate back to slower paced, strategy type games while some of you resort to what I would consider high-stress shooters.

I guess relaxation is pretty darn subjective. :D

I don't know where I would be without TT. Plus the days i've dumped into that game and I still haven't ever got the perfect score.
