The Switch 2 GPU is a high-end gaming console graphics solution by NVIDIA, launched on June 5th, 2025. Built on the 8 nm process, and based on the GA10B graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. The GA10B graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 200 mm². It features 1536 shading units, 48 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. Also included are 48 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. The card also has 12 raytracing acceleration cores. NVIDIA includes 12 GB LPDDR5X memory, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 561 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1400 MHz, memory is running at 800 MHz.
Its power draw is rated at 40 W maximum. The console's dimensions are 272 mm x 116 mm x 14 mm, and it features a igp cooling solution. Its price at launch was 449 US Dollars.
