The stand has the same 2-tone finish. At the front, you see matte-white only take up the bottom bezel. The screen is still framed in a thin black bezel.

MSi today added to its gaming monitor portfolio with the Optix G273QPF monitor. The new entry features a 27",Rapid IPS panel with 1-ms response times and up to 165 Hz refresh rate - and features support for AMD's FreeSync technology and NVIDIA's G-Sync Compatible program. The WQHD, 2560 x 1440 panel still offers one of the best balanced experiences in terms of maximum framerate and pixel density, and further features a good color coverage (99% sRGB coverage rate, 93% DCI-P3). Maximum brightness is quoted at 300 cd/m², and maximum contrast ratio is 1000:1.

Available I/O includes 2x HDMI 2.0b, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, and 1x Audio out, eschewing any USB connections in favor of a lower consumer price. Quality of life capabilties of the Optix G273QPF include stand tilting from -5 ° to 20 °, 45 ° to 45 ° swiveling, and -90 ° pivot for a vertical workspace. The MSI Optix G273QPF monitor is expected to be available for purchase from July 22nd for a price around the $400/€400 mark.

The three new factory-calibrated monitors are Calman Verified and offer Delta E 2 color accuracy with 100% sRGB and 100% Rec.709 color spaces. Available in a range of sizes and panel types, the monitors offer extensive connectivity with USB C (with 65-watt power delivery), DisplayPort, HDMI, and a USB hub to cater to content-creator workflows. The 27-inch ProArt PA279CV and PA278CV offer a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) panel and WQHD (2560 x 1440) panel, respectively; and ProArt PA247CV features a 23.8 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) panel.

Other panel specs include 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 3,000:1 static contrast ratio. Its stand allows height, tilt, and 30° of pivot. A USB 2.0 hub, and an RGB ornament behind the panel, make for the rest of it. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Viotek rolled out the GFI27DBXA, a 27-inch monitor with WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) native resolution, 180 Hz refresh rate, and 1 ms response time, which add to its gaming feature-set. The IPS display panel behind all this, is capable of 10-bpc color (1.07 billion colors), 178°/178° viewing angles, 600 cd/m² maximum brightness, and HDR, although the company didn't mention if this is DisplayHDR 600. The panel also supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC (compatible). Display inputs include two DisplayPort 1.4, and one HDMI 2.0. The monitor also features game genre-specific display presets, OSD crosshairs, anti-glare surface treatment, and 3-level blue light filtering. Its stand allows tilt, height, and 90° rotation adjustments. Available now, the Viotek GFI27DBXA is priced at USD $370.

MSI today announced another entry into their MAG monitor lineup in the form of the MAG272CQP. As the name implies, we're looking at a 27" affair packing a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440). The panel is a VA type (as implied by its 3000:1 contrast ratio, although at a basic 300 nits maximum brightness), and has a curve ratio of 1500R. The monitor supports VRR (marketed as FreeSync Premium), and 165 Hz refresh rates with 1 ms response times.

I/O is (generously) assured by 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI2.0, 2x USB3.2 Gen.1 Type-A, 1x USB3.2 Gen.1 Type-B, 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alternate), and an earphone jack. no word on pricing or actual release date was available at time of writing.

With a simple yet attractive 3-side frameless design, these models are great candidates for budget-conscious home users with an eye for design. All displays are equipped with IPS panels for vivid and natural colour reproduction. The 75 Hz refresh rate of the QHD models makes motion 25% smoother than regular 60 Hz monitors. Additionally, Adaptive-Sync support in all models eliminates tear and stutter when the framerate varies, which makes these monitors a great fit for casual gamers. With all these features, the V4 series is a perfect all-rounder for both working from home and entertainment purposes.

AOC today launched another addition to their gaming monitor lineup in the form of the AG323QCX2. This particular entry from AOC features a 2560 x 1440 8WQHD) 31.5" panel with a VA pixel matrix, which will ensure fast response times - as shown by the 155 HZ refresh rate and 1 ms response time. To support that refresh rate, the AOC AG323QCX2 features support for VESA's VRR (FreeSync). With a contrast ratio set at 3000:1 and a 1500R curvature, this panel looks like a competent solution for users who are looking for 1080p+ resolutions but don't want to bring their graphics cards to their knees with 4K resolution (a reality that is still common, even with the latest (unavailable) GPUs from AMD and NVIDIA.

The AG323QCX2 also features support for VESA's HDR 400 standard, with a typical luminance announced at 400 cd/m² (and HDR10 support). Color technology-wise, we're looking at a a good 99% sRGB color coverage, and a great 91% coverage of the DCI-P3 color spaces, with a calibration that ensures a Delta-E < 2 value, which opens up this monitor's usage for photo and video editing. I/O is assured by 2x DisplayPort 1.3 and 2x HDMI 2.0 (limiting its usage for the latest-gen consoles), 4x USB 3.2 downstream ports, 1x Mic-in, 1x Audio Out, and 2x internal 5 W speakers. Quality-of-life wise, the monitor features inclination, rotation and height adjustments, a 75 x 75 mm VESA mount, blue light filtering and flicker-free background lighting. The monitor comes in at a hefty 7.2 Kg (sans stand). No information on pricing was available at time of writing.

ASUS today introduced the VA27AQSB, a 27-inch monitor for white-collar desktops that stay on for most of the day. This WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) monitor features TUV Rhineland-certified flicker-free technology (non-PWM method of LED backlit brightness adjustment), and blue light reduction technology, which both work toward reducing eye strain. It uses an IPS panel with 5 ms response time, 75 Hz refresh rate, 350 cd/m² maximum brightness, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, and 178°/178° viewing angles. The display supports both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC (compatible). Display inputs include HDMI 1.4a and DisplayPort 1.2a. The stand allows height, tilt, and 90° rotation. The panel itself features VESA wall mounts, so you can take advantage of the thin bezels for multi-display rigs. 2 W stereo speakers, headset jack, and a 2-port USB 2.0 hub makes for the rest of its feature-set. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ASUS at its Asia ROG event announced a new monitor, approaching stores and shores (eventually). The ROG Swift PG329Q is being launched with a "Super Kill" marketing line, which aims to showcase just how impressive this monitor will be in aiding users' gaming capabilities. The ROG Swift PG329Q features a 32" "Fast IPS" panel - fast IPS here meaning that it's capable of running at 175 Hz whilst keeping a 1 ms Gray-to-Gray response time - all of this with IPS' renowned color rendition.

The monitor features a sane 2560 x 1440 resolution and HDR 600 certification from VESA, and thanks to the usage of Quantum Dot tech, will be able to offer 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 160% sRGB ultra-wide color gamut coverage. The monitor supports Adaptive Sync tech (whether via FreeSync or G-Sync compatible), as well as ASUS' ELMB SYNC technology. There's also the usual RGB tech going on in the back of the monitor. The ASUS ROG Swift PG329Q will be released in the fourth quarter of this year. No word on pricing, but expect a monitor with these features to be leaning heavily on the $ side of the equation.

Other vital panel specs include 3000:1 static contrast ratio with dynamic mega-contrast, 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 91.43% coverage of DCI-P3. The panel features a matte finish and anti-glare treatment. Inputs include one DisplayPort 1.2a (needed for FreeSync), and two HDMI 2.0 ports. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Xiaomi today soft-launched a new, high-refresh rate IPS gaming monitor on their Mi line. The Xiaomi Mi Display 165 Hz brings a 27", 8-bit IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a pretty impressive 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage. Response time is quoted at 4 ms (1 ms GtG, as most manufacturers insist on quoting their response time speeds). There is support for VRR technologies (AMD's FreeSync and NVIDIA's G-Sync Compatible), as well as Display HDR 400 certification (the lowest that can be had, but still, it's certified). Peak luminance in HDR is set at 400 nits, with typical brilliance standing at 320 nits.

I/O-wise, we're looking at 3x USB 3.0, 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort and 1x 3.5 mm headset port. The reported specifications, including the DCI-P3 color space coverage, should make this monitor interesting for users ranging from gamers to amateur/semi-professional photo and video editors. pricing, however, is the icing in the cake: Xiaomi will be selling this monitor for 2,199 yuan (which amounts to roughly $299) - a bargain when one considers the overall specifications on this monitor. The monitor will be available from June 17 in China, with international availability following.

LG Electronics USA announced that the 27-inch QHD "Ergo" IPS monitor (model 27QN880-B) is now available as an online exclusive with an SRP of $449.99 through the end of June, and then at LG-authorized retailers nationwide beginning July 1. The new 27-inch QHD monitor joins LG's industry-leading lineup of IPS displays that are designed to deliver precise detail and color at a wide viewing angle that is ideal for creative designers, photographers and videographers working from home or those about to return to an office setting.

EVE Distribution, the company that's already crowd-sourced the Microsoft Surface-rival Eve Hybrid, which launched to very positive feedback from the tech community (even with the incredible delays in shipping and distributing the purchased Eve Hybrids, though the company now says they've rebuilt their logistics and distribution mechanisms. Now, the company is eyeing next-generation gaming with its Spectrum monitor lineup, which aim to be both PC-centric and console-centric gaming monitors.

The three monitor models all share LG as a panel source (specifically, the same panel used in the LG UltraGear 27GL850. All of them also share the same IPS technology with 1 ms response times, 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB coverage, as well as the same 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Differences start to appear when looking at maximum resolution, brightness and refresh rates.
