Abee Launches Cubical Aluminum Cases with 2-tone Fronts

Japanese premium PC case maker Abee launched the ACubic CP330 (mini-ITX) and ACubic CP730 (micro-ATX) lines of cubical aluminum cases with 2-tone frontss. The front panels are checkered to four squares with two mildly contrasting shades of black or silver. Variations include Black x Black, Black x Silver, and Silver x Silver.

Measuring 229 x 249 x 229 mm (WxDxH), and weighing about 3.4 kg, the CP330 features one each of 5.25-inch and 3.5/2.5-inch drive bays, a 120 mm front intake fan, and provision for a 92 mm rear exhaust. It features room for graphics cards as long as 200 mm, and CPU coolers as tall as 55 mm. The CP730, on the other hand, measures 269 x 318 x 249 mm, weighing 4.9 kg, features three 3.5/2.5-inch bays in addition to the 5.25-incher, and room for graphics cards as long as 270 mm, and CPU coolers as tall as 75 mm. It features the same fan loadout as its smaller sibling.

Abee Announces ACE-G40 Line of Cubical Micro-ATX Cases

Japanese premium PC case maker Abee announced the ACE-G40 line of cubical micro-ATX cases. Made of aluminum alloy panels with SECC steel framework, these cases are designed with a perforated metal strip lining its front, which lets it draw air from a 120 mm fan. The ACE-G40 is available in two color options, silver (ACE-G40-S), and black (ACE-G40-BK). Its motherboard tray gives you enough room for CPU coolers as tall as 75 mm, and graphics cards as long as 270 mm. The ACE-G40 can hold a 5.25-inch drive, three 3.5-inch drives or up to six 2.5-inch ones. In addition to the 120 mm front-intake, the case has just enough room for a 92 mm rear exhaust. Measuring 269 x 318 x 249 mm (WxDxH), its dry-weight is 4.6 kg.

Abee Intros Acubic C10R Line of Mini-ITX Cases

Japanese premium PC case maker Abee introduced the Acubic C10R line of cubical mini-ITX cases. Available in five metallic color options - black (piano), white (glossy), silver, blue, and red; the cases measure 239 x 229 x 229 mm (LxWxH). Its interiors pack enough room for add-on cards as long as 190 mm (a compact GeForce GTX 660 Ti should make it), and CPU coolers as tall as 55 mm (most C-type coolers should make it). It features one each of 5.25-inch, 3.5-inch, and 2.5-inch drive bays. Ventilation includes a 120 mm front intake fan, and provision for two 60 mm rear exhaust fans. Made with aluminum panels and an opaque acrylic front, the cases weigh about 3.2 kg. They're priced at 27,980¥ (US $320).

Abee Debuts Two More Intel NUC Replacement Cases

In addition to last month's NE01 and NE02 full-aluminum replacement cases for Intel's revolutionary NUC desktop, Japanese PC case maker Abee debuted the NE03 and NE04 (pictured in that order). Available in five metallic color options, the NE03 features a brick-shaped design with a clear acrylic top. It measures 140 x 200 x 50 mm (WxDxH). The NE04, on the other hand, features a cubical design, is available in five soft color options of its own, measures 125 x 110 x 117 mm, and supports a 60 mm fan. The two are priced at 17,980¥ (US $213) and 15,980¥ ($190), respectively.

Abee Unveils Acubic D80 Series ATX Mid-Tower Cases

Japanese PC case maker Abee unveiled the Acubic D80 series ATX mid-tower cases. It is characterized by thick steel panels, which can be 1 mm-thick in some parts (such as detachable panels), and 0.8 mm-thick on others (such as the framework). The thicker steel makes it heavy, but also vibrates lesser, resulting in lower noise output by vibration. The outer walls of the panels are given a fine matte finish that doesn't invite prints.

Internally, the Acubic D80 uses two drive cages, one which stacks drives on top of each other, and the other besides each other, like dominoes. The arrangement creates over 32 cm of legroom for expansion cards. A total of five 3.5-inch drives, a slot of one of which converts to two 2.5-inch bays, can be installed.

Abee Unveils Colorful and Shiny Replacement Cases for Intel NUC

Abee unveiled the Acubic NE01 and NE02 lines of replacement cases for Intel NUC. Made of brushed, anodized aluminum, the cases are available in a variety of glossy colors. The NE01, the first group of cases pictured below, measures 125 x 111 x 41 mm, featuring an edgy design. The NE02, on the other hand, measures 126 x 111 x 42 mm, featuring a slightly rounded and curvy design. Both cases weigh roughly 450 g. Designed strictly for the NUC form-factor, the two support Intel Desktop Boards D33217CK and D33217GKE only, are are compatible with their rear-panel bracket, and front USB port positions. Both cases support VESA mount, and can latch onto your flat-panel. Slated for Wednesday (28/11), the NE01 and NE02 are priced around US $99.

Abee Unveils E20 and E40 Mini-ITX Cases

Abee unveiled a pair of mini-ITX cases characterized by rounded edges and glossy colors on the side panels. These include the E20, available in piano black, red, and silver; and E40, available in black and silver. The E20 is a tight squeeze , leaving no room for expansion slots, or even a PSU for that matter. It includes an external power brick, with standard ATX distribution inside. There is just enough room for CPU coolers that are up to 50 mm tall, and a 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive. Measuring 104 x 219 x 209 mm (WxDxH), it weighs about 1.5 kg, and is made of aluminum. The E40, on the other hand, is slightly bigger, at 109 x 219 x 209 mm, although that doesn't change its holding capacity for drives. The E20 and E40 are priced at 21,980¥ (US $270) and 24,980¥ ($307), respectively.

Abee Announces RC0x Series Cube-Shaped Cases

Japanese company Abee announced four new cube-shaped cases of various sizes, which are designed to make it easier to space out hardware, and install space-hungry optional components such as water-cooling. Perfectly cubical, the series includes RC04 and RC04G designed for mini-ITX motherboards; RC07 and RC07G for micro-ATX/mini-ITX motherboards.

The RC04 series measures 240 x 240 x 240 mm, made with aluminum alloy framework (chassis), and brushed aluminum panels. The RC04 is available in black and silver, while the RC04G features additional color options and a better "shiny" (chrome) finish, available in silver, carbon-black, and brown. It packs room for graphics cards as long as 190 mm. and low-profile CPU coolers (no more than 55 mm tall). There's just enough room for a compact ATX PSU (which can make room for two more 3.5-inch bays), a 3.5-inch HDD, and 2.5-inch HDD/SSD (two separate bays), and a 5.25-inch bay (which can make room for two more 3.5-inch bays.
