The world-famous manufacturer Alphacool introduces the first case of its Mining Rig series. The Alphacool Mining Rig 12 can accommodate two motherboards, four power supplies and of up to 12 graphics cards. There are also extensive mounting options for water cooling. For example, up to six 360 mm radiators can be mounted and at least two reservoirs with space for corresponding pumps. The Alphacool XPX RGB frame is intended for users of the Eisblock XPX CPU cooler who are looking for the perfect lighting for their cooler. The RGB frame simply slides over the Eisblock XPX cooler and is then connected to the RGB controller. With an impressive 15 RGB LEDs evenly distributed over the XPX Eisblock CPU cooler, perfect lighting is guaranteed. The RGB controller lets you change not only the colors, but also add color effects like gradients, blinking, slow color changes, and much more. Many controllers also include a dimmer function. Just like the Eisbaer, the Eisbaer LT distinguishes itself from the usual AIO mix in that Alphacool relied on normal custom components as much as possible during development. This allows the Eisbaer LT to be expanded on not just with the Eisbaer Ready quick connectors but also with connectors using standard G1/4" threads. Another highlight is the new 25mm thin Slim Radiator, made entirely of copper. Since copper has twice the heat capacity of aluminium, optimal cooling is guaranteed.

The cooler bottom is made entirely of copper and has an ultra-fine cross slot structure. Thanks to those cross slots and a sophisticated nozzle system, heat is absorbed extremely fast and transferred away from the CPU. The built-in DC-LT Ultra Ceramic Low Noise pump is an extremely quiet pump that Alphacool has used in many products. The pump is much stronger than what you'd usually find in AIOs. It can also be throttled with the optional 7V adaptor, decreasing the already low noise generation even further. The pump casing is very flat and the aluminium cap gives it a clean, elegant look.

Alphacool, the renowned watercooling and accessories company, took to CES 2018 to showcase their watercooling product and accessory lineup. The company's Eisstation cooling blocks made a welcome, "LEDy" appearance, as did the company's full-coverage waterblocks for your choice of VGA. The company also demonstrated a hybrid, water and air cooling solution via its dressed-up radiators; a good-looking maintenance kit; and the company's distinct Eisbecher Helix and Helix Light watercooling "bling".

Whether you're a professional modder or still a novice, the Alphacool Eiskoffer offers everyone a comprehensive foundation for bending HardTubes into any desired form. The set is compatible with 13mm and 16mm HardTubes. Every tool is designed for both sizes. A deburring tool and gloves are included, as well as a saw and a mitre box that can be mounted to a table with special screw clamps. A rubberised interior prevents scratches and stops the HardTubes from sliding around inside the mitre box while sawing. A comprehensive set of measuring tools is included so you can get the angles you need, including several angles in a row. The measuring kit is built to be totally flexible and can be used in just about any situation.

In order to get the perfect bend each time, a substantial palette of bending radii and angles can be attached to the bending plate. The basis for this is formed by two different sizes of bending mandrels and arc mandrels. This allows you to bend HardTubes to any classic bending radius. The bending plate has a section that can accommodate self-designed or highly specialised bends. The case contains special flex mandrels that can be positioned in nearly any way. You need a 30° angle followed by a 2cm long straight section and then another 20° angle? No problem; these flex mandrels make just about anything possible.

Alphacool has just made available another line of products, in the form of their new Eisstation series of compact reservoirs. Alphacool has carved three new products based on this reservoir design, the Alphacool Eisstation DC-Ultra, Eisstation DDC, and Eisstation VPP, for different pump options (D5, DDC and DC-LT). Alphacool is calling user's attention to the myriad of mounting options available (it can be screwed to a number of places on your case, and there's a Velcro pad offered to increase mounting possibilites even more). The small footprint (the Eisstation are small enough to fit inside a 3.5" bay cage) and subtle blue RGB lighting are also of note (other color options are available through mod kits).

Alphacool presents the brand new Eisbecher Helix family, the Eisbecher Helix 250 and the Eisbecher Helix Light. Both versions offer a unique look with their helix, reminiscent of a strand of DNA, running through the middle of the reservoir. The acetal bottom and top are completely covered with elegant aluminium caps, putting a finishing touch on the outstanding aesthetic of the Eisbecher Helix.
The Eisbecher Helix 250 also comes with a UV cathode tube, which is placed right in the middle of the Helix. If UV-reactive water is used, this will create an even glow shining from within the reservoir - the perfect eye-catcher.

The Alphacool Helix Eisbecher captivates with its unique Helix Optic, including elegant aluminium caps for its upper and bottom sides. The 60mm diameter version also offers a UV cathode tube to illuminate UV-reactive water from within.

The Alphacool HDX-5 is a combination of a RAID controller card and a massive cooler. It has two slots for M.2 SATA SSDs and two additional SATA slots, allowing you to set up a RAID 0 or 1 group. The PCI-Express 3.0 x4 card also provides a bandwidth of up to 3900 MB/s.

The new generation of HDX coolers from Alphacool is getting another addition. The HDX-5 is not just a cooler, but also lets you run a RAID 0 or 1 group. It boasts two M.2 SATA SSD slots and two classic SATA slots. The combination possibilities are considerable, since you can set up a RAID group over one M.2 SATA SSD and one normal SATA drive, or connect just the M.2 slots to form a RAID group. That leaves the classic SATA slots free to be used for normal connections.

Alphacool has been growing their product portfolio immensely as of late, and now, the company is teasing the Eisblock Flatboy, the company's specifically-designed waterblock for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper CPUs. Threadripper CPUs have one of the biggest surface areas ever encountered in a consumer processor; because of that, not all cooling solutions are appropriate to cool the up-to 16 cores and 32 threads monsters, with a higher surface area than normal being needed.

Still in the prototype phase, the Eisblock Flatboy integrates a reverse, silent flow pump system, like the company has already introduced on their Eiswolf product. The prototype as is seems to obstruct clearance for the rightmost DIMM slot to the left of the CPU socket, which shouldn't pose a problem for some people, but would be an extremely sore point for prospective buyers should that design decision overflow towards the final version.

Alphacool will soon be offering brackets fitted for the Alphacool Eisblock XPX and the Alphacool Eisbaer CPU AIO series. Both coolers were designed for large DIE surfaces from the beginning and provide an ideal foundation for a water cooling system on the new AMD Threadripper CPUs.

Additionally, Alphacool plans to release a special cooler later this year that is specifically made for CPUs with an extremely large DIE surface and multiple cores: The Alphacool Eisblock Flatboy. This extremely flat CPU cooler was originally designed for server systems. Because of this, it has connection points not just on its surface, but also on its sides. The side connections make the Flatboy very flat, making it easy to install in the flat casing of a 19" server rack.

ATI RX Vega cooler, Alphacool has the perfect cooling solutions for the start of the new AMD Vega graphics card generation. The NexXxoS GPX Vega Version now offers an improved backplate with a side shield to cover the PCB. This also improves its cooling performance, since heat is distributed more evenly over the front connection. If you use a graphics card with a NexXxoS GPX cooler and want to switch over to an AMD Vega, you'll be happy to hear about the corresponding upgrade kits for your cooler.

The Eiswolf GPX-Pro will still be an AIO solution, and will still come pre-filled with an integrated pump built around new "reverse flow" technology for whisper-quiet operation. The pure copper radiator from the well-known NexXxoS series with 120mm and a thickness of 45mm provides outstanding cooling performance.

What is it?
The Alphacool Eisbaer is an expandable, refillable CPU all-in-one watercooler with a pure copper radiator. The Eisbaer can be expanded with additional Eisbaer Ready products such as the Eiswolf GPX-Pro graphics card cooler, among others.

With the Eisbaer 420mm, Alphacool presents what is currently the largest and most powerful AIO water cooler in the world. Both coolers come with a 4x PCIe card, on which the cooler and SSD are mounted. This has many advantages over mounting directly to the motherboard.

Cooling can be difficult on a motherboard due to space constraints and the location of the graphics card, which is often mounted directly above or beside the motherboard. A PCIe card and cooler give you lots of room to set up a good cooling solution. But why do you need to cool your M.2 SSD? When an M.2 SSD is used continuously and for substantial data transfers, it can heat up so strongly that the drive slows itself down and decreases its performance significantly. This can happen after even a few seconds. The only way to solve this problem is with a good cooling solution.

Alphacool rolled the Eisblock GPX-N full-coverage water-block for GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition, TITAN X Pascal, and TITAN Xp (they share the same reference PCB). The block features a nickel-plated copper primary material, with an acrylic top, and a metal outer shroud that gives the block an industrial look. Also included is an aluminium back-plate. The block features standard G1/4" fittings.

Here are some of the first pictures of Alphacool Eisbaer 420, a closed-loop AIO liquid CPU cooler by one of the few manufacturers that doesn't sell re-branded Asetek wares. The cooler is designed for extreme overclocked setups using HEDT processors, and supports upcoming HEDT sockets. The cooler consists of a copper-base pump-block plumbed to a 420 mm x 140 mm full-copper radiator, with three 140 mm fans. One of the coolant tubes has a quick-disconnect fitting.

Alphacool proudly presents the XPX Eisblock clear and satin versions. As with the other versions of the XPX, Alphacool relies on their specially developed and patented ramp technology. This innovation significantly improves the cooling performance, which has already been shown in tests with the normal Eisblock XPX. It allows the water to flow evenly over all the cooling fins instead of just rushing through the middle section and nearly standing still at the edges. Additionally, the Eisblock XPX boasts a large bottom surface of 34 x 32mm, perfect for CPUs with 8 or more cores, and a very fine fin structure of 0.2mm.


Alphacool is also the first water cooling manufacturer worldwide to dispense with Plexiglas and instead use transparent nylon, the material of the future, for both coolers. Nylon is a much more robust material than Plexiglas, meaning that the danger of cracks in the cooler is drastically reduced. Cracks can occur due to connectors being fastened too tightly or some other uneven strain on the Plexiglas.

Alphacool is putting its hands on more exquisite - for the CPU cooling market - forms of cooling. The company has now launched their first foray into the compressor-based cooling market, with the Eiszeit 1500 W. As the name suggests, the Eiszeit delivers up to 1500 W cooling capability, much higher than most ordinary cooling solutions can handle. That is a mammoth cooling capacity, equaled by the Eiszeit's weight, which comes in at 29 Kg. But neither of these figures holds a candle to the Eiszeit's price - 960€, or around $1000.

The Eiszeit makes do with a pump of greater endurance and capacity than the usual D5 or DDC pumps, delivering a maximum flow-rate of 600 liters per hour from its 9-liter reservoir. The Eiszeit was designed to integrate well with Alphacool's existing cooling solutions. The Eiszeit uses standard G1/4" threads, also making it compatible with most liquid cooling setups in the market. The outgoing water temperature can be adjusted in 0.3 degrees Kelvin increments through the front display. There is also a built-in alarm, as well as a normal function indicator. Alphacool presents the next step in modding and style. With the "Eislicht" , Alphacool is introducing a brand new technology into the field of case illumination.

Installing lighting into PCs started many years ago with cathode tubes. They had a pleasant, even glow, but were rather chunky and difficult to integrate into a system. Their lifespan was also a lot shorter than today's LEDs.

The latter are state of the art today, and the world of modding can hardly be imagined without them. They're easy to install, don't use a lot of power, give off very little heat, and their lifespan is very long. However, their illumination is rather piecemeal and often looks awkward due to the many individual LEDs.

Alphacool presents the Eiswand ("Ice Wall"), a water cooling set for your CPU that can also be expanded on through its two quick-release connectors. For example, you could add one of the prefilled graphics card coolers in the Eiswolf GPX-Pro series, which would even add an extra pump to your system. The Eiswand itself has two DC-LT low noise pumps built into its illuminated bottom. Even in the unlikely case that one of the two pumps fails, the cooling loop will continue to operate with only a marginal decrease in cooling performance. This means the Eiswand offers you enormous system stability.

The core component of the Eiswand is the 360mm full-copper radiator, which is equipped with six Eiswind fans. The fans' Push&Pull configuration gives you optimal cooling power. You can also use a Silent Adapter to severely restrict the pumps and fans, lowering the volume even more. Cooling power is only slightly reduced with the adapter.

At CES 2017, Alphacool showcased their external, AIO cooling solution for all your CPU cooling needs. What's really interesting about this solution is that it's fully external (barring the cooling tubes), meaning that no amount of heat will be dissipated inside your computer case, which should, in turn, improve overall temperatures in your system's components. And it also stands as a solution for users whose PC case doesn't support a 360mm radiator.

A 360mm XT45 Copper radiator makes up the bulk of the Eiswand. A total of six 700 RPM Eiswand Fans set up in a push-pull configuration keep the system cool, with two DC-LT Low noise ceramic pumps act as the Eiswand's heart, with universal socket compatibility guaranteeing you can use it in your system. The Eiswand also features a LED base that lights-up blue when powered.

The Alphacool Eisblock XPX cooler is the newest innovation in the CPU cooler field, developed by Alphacool. The XPX cooler's performance has gotten a major upgrade compared to its predecessor, the NexXxoS XP3. This was only possible because Alphacool completely re-developed the Eisblock XPX cooler from the ground up. For one, the fin structure was refined to 0.2 mm and the fin count raised to 81 fins.

This makes for a much larger cooling surface through which water can flow. In order to ensure the water is evenly distributed over the cooling fins, Alphacool developed and patented the "Ramp". It ensures there is no turbulence in the water flow over cooling fins, which would lead to uneven water distribution over the cooling fins. Alphacool also used a double distributor to ensure less resistance. Paired with the ramp, this means the pump pressure plays little to no role in the performance of the cooler. You can turn the pump power down and run your system even more quietly without losing any cooling power.

The Alphacool Eiswolf GPX-Pro cooler is the first expandable All in One water cooler for graphics cards in the world. Through its quick-release fasteners, the Eiswolf can be expanded with any desired additional components and even attached to the world-renowned Alphacool Eisbaer, an expandable All in One solution for processors.

Alphacool is still running its "Send in your GPU and get one cooler for free" promotion for the Eiswolf GPX-Pro, however there will be a small surcharge for the PRO edition. There will be an additional 20 Euro charge for the cooler itself, or if you prefer the GPX Pro AIO cooler, an additional 50 Euro charge would apply. The standard GPX cooler will continue to be no charge for this campaign.

With the Eisbrecher, Alphacool is introducing a new generation of radiators. The Eisbrecher radiators were designed specifically for silent operation and perform especially well when paired with slow-revolving fans. This makes the Eisbrecher ideal for anyone looking to build a quiet system.

The radiator core is made completely of copper, as usual for Alphacool, and the outer parts are made of aluminium. Both sides of the radiator have a honeycomb grille, under which lies the radiator's truly innovative technology. The A.B.M., or air breaker mat, ensures even distribution of fresh air to the radiator. On normal radiators, the spaces underneath the fan hub and in the corners are dead spots with barely any air circulation. The A.B.M. works like a fan shroud and breaks up the incoming air so it circulates to every area. Because of the more even distribution of air, especially with slow-revolving fans, performance is greatly increased.

Following Alphacool's motto of "The next step in modding and style", the Aurora is an easy way to illuminate your reservoir with powerful colour. Versions are available in red, blue, green, white and also UV. This last one is especially suited to UV-active fluids, where the fluid itself begins to glow.

Two sizes are available, one for tube reservoirs with a diameter of 50 and one version for 60mm. The 50mm version is equipped with 18 LEDs, the 60mm with 24 LEDs. Due to the high number of LEDs, the illumination is normally much stronger than with the classic setup of single LEDs. Of course, you can also install two or more Auroras on one reservoir.
