8-pin PCIe Adapter Cables from Corsair

As the high-end R600 cards require an 8-pin PCI-Express power cable to be plugged into the corresponding connector (look at the pictures of the HD 2900XT and OEM XTX) especially if you intend to overclock these, power supply manufacturers started to design adapter cables for their current iteration of PSUs that don't come with 8-pin PCIe cables natively. The guys from BeQuiet!/Listan were then the first in providing such adapter cables for free, see the details here.
Now Corsair stepped into the line as well and if you live in the U.S. you can contact Corsair's Customer Service and will be charged for the shipping only an Official Corsair Representative over at the [H]ard|Forum mentioned.
But remember, this will only apply if you purchased the power supply during the last weeks.

Corsair Introduces the Flash Survivor Series

Corsair has just launched a new series of ultra-durable USB flash drives, nicknamed Survivor. Building on the massive success of the Flash Voyager line-up, the new (limited availability) Flash Survivor is an extremely durable, water resistant, drop-tested flash USB memory drive. The Corsair Flash Survivor USB drives are available in 4GB and 8GB capacities. The Survivor drives are made of extremely strong CNC-milled, 6061 Type 2 Aluminum, the same used in aircraft parts manufacturing. They are water resistant to 200m, protected from vibration or impact damage and work flawlessly with any USB 2.0 certified peripheral computer port (backward compatible with USB1.1). All Corsair Suvivor drives are also protected by a 10 year limited warranty.

Corsair has new USB sticks

Corsair has a new line up of specially designed USB sticks. The first one is named Survivor, and it comes in two flavors - the ordinary one and the faster GT. The main feature of this aluminum made stick is that it can withstand severe mechanical abuse. In theory, you can use it underwater at 200 meters below sea level. They will available in 4 and 8 GB of capacity.

The second one is for the one who fears that someone might find out their little secrets from their memory stick. Named PADLOCK, it has a special keyboard, which allows you to set a password. If you want to use the stick, you have 20 seconds to enter the password. Otherwise, if you don't enter, or enter the incorrect one, Windows won't even see the drive at all. The drive hasn't got any lockout mechanism or master code, so there is no limit in number of attempts to enter the right key.

Corsair redefines power supply efficiency at CeBIT

Corsair, known for making quite good RAM among other things, is apparently really getting serious about the power supply business. Most power supplies on the market today are anywhere between 50 and 85% efficient, with the vast majority of power supplies being between 75 and 85% efficient under load. Corsair had a brilliant power supply at their CeBIT booth, which had an impressive 90% load efficiency. This allowed it to power an AMD QuadFX system with G80 SLI, 4GB of PC2-8000 DDR2 RAM, and a 150GB hard drive with a 620W power supply (most people at the show expected an 850W-1kW PSU to be required). To be honest, Corsair has actually had this power supply on the market for a while, and probably couldn't wait for CeBIT to make it available. You can get this extremely efficient power supply here (oh look it's on sale).
