abit Launches New IP35P Motherboard

abit launched today the IP35P, their latest motherboard with great overclockability. Based on Intel P35 chipset, the abit IP35P motherboard supports Intel Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo & Pentium Dual-Core & Celeron Dual Core processors. Besides the current 65nm processors, you are ready for the next generation 45nm processors with up to 1333 FSB. The IP35P supports max memory capacity of up to 8GB; most important of all, it supports DDR2 even up to 1066 OC, allowing you for overclocking to the extreme. Additionally, the high definition on-board audio offers the flexibility to use regular stereo PC speakers or any modern surround sound system up to 7.1 channels.

ASRock Launches its First High-end Motherboard

ASRock has recently launched its first high-end motherboard, the 4Core1600P35-WiFi+ adopting Intel's P35 chipset. Although the P35 will only support up to 1333MHz FSB officially, ASRock has enabled support for up to 1600MHz. In addition to solid capacitors and overclock control software, the motherboard features the Realtek ALC890 chip for sound, and also built-in IEEE 802.11g. ASRock is also planning to soon launch motherboards adopting NVIDIA's nForce 650i and 680i chipsets, according to the company. Finally, the board supports Dual Channel DDR3 1333/1066/800 (2x DIMM slots) and Dual Channel DDR2 1066/800/667 (4x DIMM slots) memory.

FOXCONN Adds P35AP-S DDR3/DDR2 Combo motherboard to Digital Life Series

FOXCONN today released the P35AP-S motherboard - the latest product in Foxconn's Digital Life segment, which aims to bring more connectivity and digital entertainment capability to high-end motherboards. The P35AP-S is based on the Intel P35 chipset, and offers support for both DDR3 up to 1333MHz and DDR2 up to 1066MHz. P35AP-S will be available in the channel from did November. Foxconn Unleashes the Power with MARS

Foxconn today officially announced the launch of its first true overclocking motherboard; MARS will be the first in a new product line called Quantum Force, which will be dedicated to overclocking and gaming enthusiasts. Based on the Intel P35 chipset, MARS has been specially tuned for overclocking performance, and has undergone extensive testing and trials by some of the world's leading overclockers before release to retail customers in September.

Asus P5K Premium appears

Asus is one of those companies that likes to produce a lot of motherboards, even though they share the same chipset.

Chinese XF forum has some pictures of the new P5K Premium board based on the P35 chipset from Intel. When compared to the P5K Deluxe, it looks like there are some subtle changes. The CPU voltage regulation has been re-worked, for example.

BIOSTAR Microtech released today its top of the line solution for LGA 775 socket - TP35D3-A7 Deluxe motherboard. The Biostar T-series TP35D3-A7 Deluxe is based on Intel P35 + ICH9R chipsets with support for DDR3-1333/1066/800MHz modules and has a special 8 phase voltage regulator power design. This model features 100% solid capacitors, 4x DDR3 DIMMs (max. support up to 8GB), 1x PCIe x16 and 3x PCIe x1 slots and works with all Intel Core 2 Duo/Core 2 Quad/Celeron 400 Series processors (1333MHz FSB). SupremeTec Prometheus IC2-P35 Overclockers Dream Board

It seems that enthusiasts can have another choice of brand in the market with the entry of SupremeTec with their Prometheus line of motherboards designed specially for overclockers. A short history of Supremetec International Co., Ltd: the company was founded in the year 2000 and has since then been mainly focused on providing solutions for industrial PCs. Right now, they are officially entering the US market with the first enthusiast motherboard based on Intel P35 chipset, the Prometheus IC2-P35. The Prometheus IC2-P35 will use Swiftech thermal solutions to cool the board's northbridge and southbridge as well as integrated Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi 7.1-channel audio. According to the guys at VR-Zone the board will hit the US$200 price tag when released.

ASUS ROG Blitz Extreme and Blitz Formula - Sneak Peek

ASUS is about to present new additions to its Republic Of Gamers (ROG) series of motherboards, scheduled to be released at this years Computex Taipei 2007. Initially, two new mainboards will be available: the DDR3 Edition "Blitz Extreme" and the DDR2 Edition "Blitz Formula", both coupled with Intel's P35 and ICH9R chipsets. Intel P35 chipset to end up faster than P965 and nForce 680i

The new Intel P35 chipset will make its debut soon. Hardspell has tested the performance of the chipset against Intel's own P965 and NVIDIA's 680i. Their findings show that the P35 chipset exhibits a similar level of performance to the P965 chipset. However, when it is paired up with DDR2-1066 modules, the performance is boosted and exceeds the NV-680i in games.

Gigabyte United Prepares DDR3 Motherboards

Gigabyte United is set to introduce its next generation Ultra Durable 2 series motherboards in early June. There will be five Ultra Durable 2 series motherboards powered by Intel's P35 and G33 Express chipsets - the P35-DQ6, P35-DS3R, P35T-DQ6, G33M-D2SR and G33-DS3R in full and micro ATX configurations. All motherboards will feature ferrite core choke coils, low RDS MOSFETs and all-solid capacitors for increased reliability and longevity.
