ADATA Launches Industry First Mobile Device/Memory Card Optimization Site – GoMobile

ADATA Technology is pleased to announce the launch of the industry's first mobile device/memory card optimization site - GoMobile. With GoMobile, ADATA provides a compatibility and m-Commerce solution which allows consumers to find the most suitable memory card for use with a smartphone, tablet computer, digital camera, or camcorder.

Green House Unveils New, Industrial Grade SD Memory Cards

Green House today announced a new family of MLC-based SD memory cards, the GH-SDI-WMA. Going from 2 GB to 32 GB in terms of capacity, the cards deliver read and write speeds of up to 20 MB/s and 16 MB/s, respectively, they can operate at -25 to +85 degrees Celsius, and include technologies that prevent data loss.

The GH-SDI-WMA cards are backed by a three-year warranty.

Green House Releases a 64 GB microSDXC Memory Card

Japanese company Green House has today introduced a new, high-capacity memory card, a microSDXC providing 64 GB of flashy storage. Dubbed GH-SDMRXC64G6, this card weights just 0.2 grams, is waterproof, has a three-year warranty, and delivers read and write speeds of up to 40 MB/s and 12 MB/s, respectively.

Green House's 64 GB microSDXC is bundled with an SD adapter and costs about $151.

Green House Unveils Three New CFast Memory Card Series

Japanese company Green House has today announced not one but three families of industrial-grade CFast memory cards, the SLC-based GH-CFS-NSA and GH-CFS-XSA, and the MLC-based GH-CFS-NMA. All three series make use of a JMicron controller and comply with the CFast Specification v1.0.

The models equipped with SLC NAND Flash have a MTBF of up to 4 million hours and deliver read/write speeds of up to 130/110 MB/s, while the MLC-powered cards have a 3 million-hour MTBF and top 130/120 MB/s when reading/writing (speeds vary with capacity).

All three CFast card lines are set to be released before the end of the month (so, this week). The GH-CFS-NSA and GH-CFS-XSA models come with a three-year warranty and go from 2 GB to 32 GB in terms of capacity, whereas the GH-CFS-NMA cards are backed by a one-year warranty and go from 8 GB to 64 GB.

JEDEC Updates Universal Flash Storage (UFS) Standard
