Shuttle Announces the XPC Nano NC02U SFF Desktop

Shuttle Computer Group, Inc., one of the world's leading designers of small form factor computers, today announced the upgrade to its XPC Nano line of barebone computers. The XPC NC02U Ultra Small Form Factor Series supports the latest Skylake-U platform technology. It has a new elegant, space saving design and can attach directly to a monitor with a standard VESA mount, for an uncluttered workspace or all-in-one commercial application.

"Like all of Shuttle's computers, the new NC02U can be custom configured, which sets us apart from many other computer manufacturers with competing products," said Marty Lash, director sales and marketing, Shuttle Computer Group. "And the ultra-small form factor design makes it perfect for integrators who work in digital signage, kiosks, POS, and the SOHO and SMB markets."

Shuttle Releases Five 39mm Thin Fanless PCs

Shuttle's popular series of robust, fanless, steel chassis Mini-PCs has been given a subtle make-over. Now the sixth generation of Intel Core processors (Skylake) is being used in five different model versions. This update brings 4K support, ac-WLAN and M.2 slot.

As with their predecessors, the five new models measure just 20 x 16.5 x 3.95 cm (DWH) and have 2x Intel Gigabit Ethernet, two serial interfaces, HDMI and DisplayPort, remote Power-ON and Always-ON jumper. New features include ac-WLAN with external antennae, support for DirectX 12 and 4K screens in all models. Up to 32 GB DDR3L memory can now be installed and the USB 3.0 ports have moved to the front panel. Each model comes supplied with a VESA mount that enables it to be attached to a suitable monitor or surface. At just 10 Watts, power consumption is just as miserly as before.

Shuttle Computer Group Exhibits New SZ170R8 at InterOp

Shuttle Computer Group, Inc., a world leader in the design of small form factor computers, announced its new SZ170R8 Cube PC that continues Shuttle's cube legacy and incorporates a new internal design that accepts up to four 3.5" hard disk drives as well as extra room for oversized PCI-E X16 cards. The SZ170R8 will be showcased in Booth #746 at InterOp, the IT and Networking Expo, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, May 5-6, 2016.

This new high performance Mini PC supports Intel 6th Generation Skylake LGA1151 95W processors, and the expanded storage is perfect for applications that require large capacity storage like high-end graphics, CAD/CAM and 4K media files. Combined with Intel's Rapid Storage Technology, the SZ170R8 load time is lightning fast. Its internal design provides more flexibility and oversized slots can accept large graphics cards, video surveillance cards, RAID cards and others.

Shuttle Introduces Four New Socket LGA1151 XPC Barebones

Shuttle makes it even easier to enter the world of Mini PCs. There is now a whole series of affordable entry-level machines for the latest Intel "Skylake" processor architecture. From the 43 mm flat version housed in a steel chassis and the popular 3-litre format through to the classic aluminium cube - there is now a suitable Mini PC for every requirement. All four machines are based on the versatile Intel H110 chipset and support a large number of processors for socket LGA1151. Thanks to the variety of chassis formats, the individual machines offer different benefits.

Shuttle Announces High-Performance Mini-PC with Room for High-End Graphics

Up to now mini-PCs have been designed in classic cube format for three drives, normally two hard disks/SSDs and an optical drive. A new type of case is being launched today that breaks through these restrictions. The SZ170R8 in R8 case design accommodates four 3.5" drives and does away with the need for an optical drive bay. This structural modification also enables larger graphics cards to be installed. More free space has been created inside the aluminium case. This has also resulted in benefits in terms of easier installation, better cooling and increased compatibility with very large graphics cards.

With four possible hard disks in the SZ170R8, reliable cooling of the machine is of course vital. The heatpipe-based cooling system has therefore been expanded to include a second fan fitted to the front of the case. This device sucks in fresh air through a large opening in the front panel and directs it over all four hard disks, thus preventing a build-up of heat. Another feature of the R8 design, which immediately catches the eye, is the increased number of significantly larger vents on either side of the machine. This change is a response to the more demanding requirements of modern graphics cards. Dual-slot cards with large heatsinks and powerful fans now receive more fresh air and work more reliably and quietly.

Shuttle Announces DH110 4K Ultra HD Digital Signage PC

After an impressively high-performance media player DS81, Shuttle today announces its next-generation Slim PC with Intel Skylake platform technology, the DH110. Equipped with the new LGA 1151 socket and Intel 110 chipset, the DH110 supports Intel 6th generation Core i3/i5/i7, Pentium, and Celeron 65W processors. It is designed to drive interactive commercial applications and support 4K/Ultra HD* video content. At the back panel of machine, provides HDMI and DisplayPort to support dual-screen displays.

Compared to Haswell/Haswell Refresh processors with 22nm process, the DH110 supports 14 nm Intel "Skylake" processor to reduce power consumption and built-in new generation Intel HD Graphics even have better graphics performance. The DH110 supports DDR3L high-efficiency 1.35V low-voltage memory with a maximum capacity up to 32 GB (16 GB x2), reducing thermal energy production and overall energy consumption.

Shuttle Unveils Robust PCs with Built-in Broadwell Core i3, i5 and i7 Processors

Up to now, absolute noiselessness combined with compact dimensions meant sacrificing computing performance. Whenever high performance was called for, an active cooling system always had to be fitted. Shuttle now makes a difference and demonstrates that fanless computers and speed are no longer mutually exclusive.

Shuttle is adding three new models to expand its DS series in one fell swoop. The existing DS57U is now complemented in European stores by the DS57U3, DS57U5 and DS57U7 all with soldered Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The four models, all in black, are based on 14 nm Broadwell micro-architecture, featuring extremely low energy consumption and an improved graphics unit.

Shuttle Comes with First Broadwell-based Fanless PC

Following the introduction of the XH97V and SH97R6 barebone PC models that have been prepared for the fifth generation of Intel Core processors, Shuttle today introduces a new member to the product family - the DS57U. This is the company's first barebone PC with a built-in Broadwell processor. As a successor to the DS47 and DS437 models, the DS57U also belongs to the 1 litre PC class. The DS57U is delivered as a barebone PC and includes the case, motherboard, cooling system and power supply unit as its core components as standard.

The system is powered by a pre-installed Intel Celeron 3205U dual-core processor (2x 1.5 GHz), which also is part of the delivery. The 14-nm architecture and power consumption of less than 15 W promise low energy costs together with improved performance. The completely fanless DS57U not only works remarkably quietly, it is almost maintenance-free, as the passive cooling ensures that no dust is sucked into the machine.
