Radeon RX reference designs can easily be identified as AMD boards, following the company's typical design scheme, which is dominated by black plastic with a dot pattern on it. On the other side, you will find a metal backplate. Dimensions of the card are 27.0 cm x 11.0 cm.

Installation requires two slots in your system.

Monitor Outputs, Display Connectors

Display connectivity options include an HDMI port and three DisplayPorts.

The HDMI port is version 2.0, and DisplayPort has been updated to 1.4 HBR3, MST, and HDR. This enables support for 4K @ 120 Hz, 5K @ 60 Hz, or 8K @ 60 Hz. Supported HDR configurations are 4K60, 4K120, and 5K60, whereas Polaris supported only 4K60 HDR. GPU-accelerated encoding is now capable of doing HEVC/H.264 at up to 1080p240, 1440p120, and 2160p60. Hardware-based decoding works at up to 4K60 for H.264, H.265, and VP9 (shader-assisted).

We shine the light from a self-leveling line laser onto the card, which shows no sagging thanks to the solid construction of the whole card, with the shroud being attached firmly to the PCB.
