We spent a full week of 12+ hour days playing with the ASUS P8P67 PRO, subjecting it to all sorts of uses, including writing this review. The sheer number of features, customizability, and software package left us wanting for very little. Once again, however, we were a bit disappointed in finding what we consider a shortage of SATA cables in the box, however, unlike the Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3, the inclusion of at least one set of SATA 6 Gb/s cables leaves us with only needing SATA2 cabling, which is much easier to obtain. Although the complete package offers more than other products in the same price range, to us it's clear that ASUS, rather than making any sacrifices in functionality, chose less expensive, and less common parts, rather than inferior ones. The BIOS and software package leave little room for improvement, although we were a bit worried about the higher memory voltage required to get our older P55-certified set of memory working properly. We have spoken to ASUS about this particular issue, however, and have been told they look to address this problem in an upcoming BIOS update. There's not much left to be said about the ASUS P8P67 PRO, as we are very satisfied with this product, and hope to see you the readers posting for help getting yours setup in the forum, although we feel confident that ASUS has ensured that most users will get up and running without any problem at all.
