Ballistix Tactical Tracer 2666 MHz DDR4 Review

A Closer Look

Ballistix has updated their Tactical heatspreader for this series of kits by giving them a futuristic look that definitely borders on the military side of things too.

There are a couple of labels on one side of each DIMM; one appears to be batch markings, while the other contains the model number and specifications.

The Ballistix logo sits in the middle, and the left edge gets a tactical logo.

Looking at either side of the stick really highlights why I detest DIMMs having stickers on them. I understand why they do, but many of these stickers, like the ones found on these Ballistix Tactical Tracer DIMMs, completely break up the look on one side.

Peering under the cover reveals single-sided DIMMs. That should help with compatibility on the AMD side of things. The top has the Ballistix logo in the middle of the white plastic bar that goes from end to end.

I ALWAYS check out the ends of DIMMs to see if there are any markings there that might glean a bit of information as to how these sticks might perform during overclocking.

I made sure to include these pictures here as I always do, but didn't find much of any worth here. Perhaps if you spot something, you can leave a comment and let me know.
