Cooltek UMX2 Review

Packaging

Cooltek ships the UMX2 in a plain cardboard package with an image of the chassis on the front and a blow-up diagram of the same on the rear, with some identical promotional text on both sides. Interestingly enough, only ITX compatibility is mentioned, which may confuse some customers. There are also no carrying holes, so you have to get a hold of the package by different means to take it home.

Two large foam spacers hold the UMX2 in place, while a foam bag has been put over the chassis to protect it from scratches and fingerprints.

Contents

You will also find a bag full of small parts within the package. This bag contains a few zip ties, two rubber stickers to act as feet, and an assortment of screws. You are encouraged to stick the feet on the chassis immediately to avoid scratching up your working surface or the chassis itself. Naturally, Cooltek has also included some basic documentation should you have any questions while assembling your system.
