Installation

The CRYORIG C7 is ridiculously easy to install. The first step is to apply some thermal paste to the CPU. After that, position the four screw pillars over the four holes on the motherboard and gently set the cooler down onto the CPU.


Now, put the backplate into place on the motherboard and screw the metal hex nuts onto the screw pillars. Use the included Hex screwdriver to snug them up by alternating on the hex nuts to get the paste to spread evenly.


I had to install the fan; however, for everyone else, the fan comes pre-installed, so you just need to plug it into the motherboard's CPU fan header. That's it, the C7 is ready to go.

CRYORIG's quick-mounting system makes installing the C7 extremely easy. In fact, it is one of the easiest coolers I have ever installed. On a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest), I would rate this cooler's installation a 10. It really is that easy.
