Introduction

Darmoshark is a peripherals company based in China. Though the name may suggest otherwise, the ambidextrous M3S Varun isn't just a smaller M3. Instead, the shape is notably different, with the hump being positioned towards the back. In terms of weight, at 55 g the M3S Varun is even lighter than the M3. PixArt's latest PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI is used once again, coupled with TTC Gold main button switches rated for 60 million clicks, which previously have seen use on the M3 4K as well. In addition to a regular USB full-speed wireless dongle, which allows for polling rates of up to 1000 Hz, Darmoshark also includes a USB high-speed dongle, enabling true 2000 Hz wireless polling. A battery life of 80 hours is cited at 1000 Hz, and 65 hours at 2000 Hz. In addition to 2.4 GHz wireless, the M3S Varun also supports Bluetooth. The feet are made of pure PTFE, and a set of replacement feet is included with the mouse, along with a set of grip tape. Even basic RGB lighting is present, which can be configured within the software, among the other usual customization options. The M3S Varun is available in black, white, yellow, purple, gray, red, or pink.
