Introduction

Deepcool Logo

From the Deepcool website:
Deepcool was founded with the mission of providing the best performance and humanized thermal solutions for worldwide customers. Established in 1996, Deepcool originally produced desktop and server coolers for ODM partners. With the rapid development of personal computers, Deepcool expanded the business into desktop cooling products and laptop cooling accessories.

Deepcool has built up its distribution network in over sixty countries all over the globe, by which end-users can purchase Deepcool products online or in their nearest local stores. With more and more media exposure and publication, such as awards from renowned websites and magazines like Pure Overclock, Tom's Hardware, Guru3d, CHIP, etc., Deepcool now enjoys a good reputation among daily computer users, gamers, and overclockers.

We will always spare no effort to maintain customer satisfaction by serving our customer's ever-changing thermal needs and providing the quickest and most comprehensive service available. As our slogan goes, we wish you all "Enjoy your cool life!"

Deepcool is well known in the DIY PC space, having released many exceptional cases, coolers, fans, and more. They have offered a wide range of products from the very get-go. Couple that with a drive to satisfy their customers by providing an excellent experience and it's no wonder they have been around since 1996. In recent years, they have had a string of good releases, like the Gamer Storm series of CPU coolers, which includes the Assassin and Lucifer, and the Captain series of all-in-one liquid coolers. With such a strong and growing stable of exceptional products, it is also no wonder Deepcool's popularity is growing.

In today's review, I look at the Deepcool GAMMAXX GT. This single tower air cooler makes use of RGB lighting to grab one's attention. Other than the new fancy LED lighting at first look, it's just another tower cooler. So without any further delay, let's take a closer look and see if its performance lives up to these looks.

Packaging

Deepcool packages the GAMMAXX GT in a box that measures in at roughly 15.2 cm in length, 12 cm in width, and 17.1 cm in height. The front of the box has a close-up of the GAMMAXX GT top plate, while the left side is just a bright blue with the cooler's name and Deepcool logo. Moving on to the back, users will find detailed specifications of the heatsink and fan and a list of supported CPU sockets.

On the right side is a continuation of the shot of the top plate from the front, along with a quick mention of its RGB feature. The top lists the cooler's features, including the RGB FAN, RGB controller, MB support, Intel and AMD socket support, and easy installation.
