The Package
The Dough Spectrum Black 32 is packaged in one of the more interesting boxes I've run into in my monitor testing career. The box is entirely black and quite stylish, and only a bit larger than the display itself. It opens up like a hood of a car, providing easier access to the contents.
The reason the box is only a tad larger than the panel is because it doesn't contain anything other than the panel, the accompanying power brick, a power cable, and two calibration reports.
The monitor's base and stand are packaged (and sold) separately, as a $100 accessory. According to Dough, 46% of their community opts for a VESA table or wall mount, so the company sees no reason to force their own base and stand on their users, when they can get a monitor at a lower price without them.
