Godfall is a third-person ARPG developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox. You are playing Orin, the fallen king who has to fight Macron, his brother, who threatens the existence of the world.

In order to thwart your evil brother's plan, you'll have to battle it out in several realms, which are filled with enemies, loot, and resources, obviously in increasing difficulty. The three zones, earth, water, and air, are designed beautifully, with lots of details.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4, using DirectX 12 exclusively, Godfall is one of the launch titles for Sony's new PlayStation 5. On the PC platform, raytracing is not supported yet, but it'll be part of a future patch. The game still offers excellent visuals paired with nice reflections, shadows, and high-resolution textures.

In this mini review, we test the performance of Godfall across our selection of graphics cards, and also provide gameplay commentary for you to figure out whether you want to buy the game or not.
